Question about Marge's Father

    Did they ever explain what happened to him? Is he dead? They have shown him a couple times in flashbacks, but as far as I remember, they never talk about what happened to him.

    He must be dead as we havent seen him when marge was older but i dont know how he died

    All the more reason to revisit the character within the next few years. I'll take it that John Bouvier (that's his name, folks) is the writers' last-ditch secret weapon.

    I've kind of wondered the same thing. They rarely even mention him. I know the episode Fear of Flying, him being a flight attendant is why Marge was scared to fly, but that's all we know about him isn't it? I don't remember them ever mentioning him again.
