BART IS RECOGNIZED FOR HIS ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND AN UNINSURED HOMER ATTEMPTS TO AVOID INJURY ON AN ALL-NEW "THE SIMPSONS" SUNDAY, MARCH 1, ON FOX

Seeing as this won't be shown in Australia on free tv until way into the year and by that time this thread will be as used as Lilyvale railway station... I will put my opinion on the info given above, and my expectations of the episode.

Seems a good plot for some entertainment.

Is this pre-empted? It is already 8:03 PM EST, and NASCAR is still on with 16 laps to go.

All it is, is virtual traffic.
I don't understand how people enjoy it.

Now if the tracks were more exciting, maybe put a couple jumps through flaming loops or mines out on the track or something.
    I'd watch that!

Best parts of the ep although one wasn't as funny as before.

    - The "Homer injuring himself" montage

    - The return of Lunchlady Doris, although in a non-speaking role

Where did you see this? They had fricken NASCAR on and no Simpsons. Although I have directv so other people might have something different.

P.S: I saw a commercial saying that they're going to have another NASCAR event next sunday. That means we'll miss two episodes! NOW I'M FRICKEN MAD! WHY CAN'T THEY HAVE STUPID NASCAR ON SATURDAY WHEN NOTHINGS ON?!

    UGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

NASCAR is still on, and I missed The Simpsons!

It's like they do this on purpose to piss off the fans of Simpsons, Family Guy, King of the Hill, and American Dad.

If Nascar makes us miss the new episodes of Family Guy, everyone should start writing angry letters/e-mails!

Probably the best episode this season. Granted that isn't saying much IMO. 6/10

Goofy is an understatement. I was laughing for all the wrong reasons: as in the WTF is this!? Footloose? Oww, my brain.

Anyway, I was RIGHT about the Pizza Party being just a ruse to get the dumb kids out.

    Grade: ?/5, K+

This was definitely one of the best this season.

It was VERY far out there, but in a way that's what made it memorable.

    4/5.

    (BTW: A K+ Simpspin? Lol.)

First off in the spirit of talking about NASCAR yeah KYLE BUSCH!!!!! He is the master. C'mon it was worth the delay for such a great ending.

Second, so far the Simpsons is off to a great start since the switch to HDTV. This episode was great! A lot of funny jokes and for some reason I got a vibe from the old days during this episode. One of my favorite moments was all the scenes of Homer getting hurt, I laughed so hard. The only problem I had with the episode was the ending, very random and weird. 4/5

What would you have graded it if it wasn't in HD?
