You mean MA? M is for video games but probably the one with gay marrage or Natural born kissers.

They are rated M in Australia because of the content that's been displayed in those episodes, and captaindillo, (One where Homer smokes pot) is the same as Weekend at Burnsies.

    Here are some reasons:

1.Content like gay marriage, nudity and use of marijuana is being displayed, which already pushes the rating up.

2.Australia rates it differently from us, as in America those episodes are PG and TV-14 rated.

    3. That's all I could think of.

The thoh episodes were violent, Natural born kissers was all about sex, Weekend at burnsies had homer doing pot. But i still dont see why dont fear the roofer is on there.

Don't Fear the Roofer shouldn't be rated M, as it's not listed to be M rated in TV.com, and besides a Hooters-like bar, there really is no bad content in this episode.

Give me a reason besides that Hooters-like bar and I'll believe you.

    ^^^

You guys have got it all wrong. Network TEN has only issued the M rating to the following episodes...
    Natural Born Kissers (M)
Weekend At Burnsies (M - Drug use)
Treehouse of Horror XV (M - Drug references)
Million Dollar Abie (M - Adult themes)

And There's Something About Marrying was NOT M rated. It was rated PG for "adult themes".

I do not count Fox8's ratings since cable TV blows all ratings out of proportion. There have been a number of episodes that are perfectly G rated, yet Fox8 chooses to make them M for some reason. Same with Futurama, even though every single Futurama episode is PG rated on DVD.

And Natural Born Kissers isn't actually M, since TEN never gave a reason for it, and it was ALWAYS PG rated on VHS/DVD. Too Hot For TV, Kiss and Tell and Season 9 all contain that episode, and they have all been rated PG. Sure there are sexual references throughout the episode, but they weren't strong enough to warrant an M rating IMO.

However, Weekend at Burnsies/TOHXV will definately be rated M on DVD for "Moderate drug use". The drug scenes were a little too cheeky to accomodate the PG rating.

And no Simpsons episode has ever been rated MA15+.
