  • Wait, am I shooting at the Nazis? - Mr. Burns

My new favourite episode of the 21st season, It has what every fun episode needs, a main plot focusing on Bart of Homer (or both), and a less funny, but fun B story focusing on Marge, lisa of Maggie.

Pros: The appearences of Barney and Bumblebee Man, they have reduced appearences now!!!, funny jokes, nice parodys, and funny camoes from Burns, Moe, Apu, and Milhouse.

Cons: Where was Maggie???, i know she doesn't change the plot much , but she was there for 2 minutes, when at the park, and when Marge changes her diaper, also no Flanders or Skinner!!

My favourite jokes, When Homer tries to calm down and accidentally dies, when Homer speaks spanish, when he tosses Bart and Spider-pig!!!!!!!!moreless

  • A funny, heart-warming episode.

    "Great"
Best episode of season 21 so far, the storyline was genuinely heart-warming and got Homer's characterization spot on, something that not all new episodes get right.

This episode showed that starting with a solid storyline is the best way to result in good humour too. Marge's solo wedding performance was one of the funniest Simpson's moments in some time.

The downside was the Lisa side story - not a bad idea, but felt more like time-filler with no real resolution or point. If they'd tied this into the main storyline (Homer donates to the home?) then the episode would've been perfect.

Great effort though and well done to the creators on this one. Hope they keep it up.moreless

Homer wins the lottery, but he skips out on a date with Marge. But when he wins, he decides not to tell anyone and to instead spend the money on various gifts for the family. But when Bart finds out, he starts blackmailing Homer to do whatever he wants so he will not tell Marge. But at the end, Homer tells, and Marge and him makeup.

It was good, some parts I did not like a whole lot, but the overall tone was nice, I thought, Homer doing nice, kind things for the family. Overall grade would be a B-moreless

  • Homer and Marge plan a performance at the wedding of Marge's cousin. Homer misses the wedding when he waits for hours on end at the Kwik-E-Mart for a lottery ticket, which turns out to be a winner. However, Homer has to keep his winnings hidden.moreless

Here's something original. Homer wins the lottery and then squanders every penny of his winnings. That's something we have never seen before on any television show. Like the previous episode this one could not be more predictable if it tried. The same can be said for the episode's second storyline. As soon as Lisa bought the Zii for Abe and his fellow Retirement Castle residents, I knew things would change and then go back to normal by episode's end. What helps this episode is the well written dialouge and clever sight gags. The best being when Homer injures his shoulder.moreless

  • Homer wins the lottery. Why hasn't that been done before?

I'm surprised how they never did a story with Homer winning a lot of money, but I guess they were just waiting for the perfect story. This is definitely the best episode of the season. I am so tired of episodes in the past that barely focus on the actual plot, but zany character antics that have gotten plenty annoying. There needs to be more episodes like this with actual story and some funny jokes to go behind it. Also, with the b-story, they did not disappoint for once. Sure, the Wii is a couple years old, but it takes a LONG time to make a cartoon the way they do it, so I don't mind. An overall great episode.moreless
