Selma decides to test her maternal instincts before having kids of her own and she takes Bart and Lisa to Duff Gardens to try out her parenting skills.
what i liked- homer thinking artificial insemination would mean having sex with a robot (the fact he does not know what that means and lisa does is funny), "i am the lizard queen!", the 7 duffs, "Hey, surly only looks out for one person. Surly." "Sorry Surly." "Shut up", the ending with selma realizing she might not want to have kids anymore, after spending the day with bart and lisa at Duff Gardens. Good episode. Selma is a unique character, especially in this episode. I liked it a lot as a whole. Final grade would have to be a B+/A- or so, i think is fairmoreless
Ok, Ok, the lizard queens not here right now but on the bright side, you are here to witness my 1st ever review. Thats a good thing. Ok, now, this episode is about when Selma's aunt dies, she realises that she is getting old and that she might die alone. So she dissides to have a kid. But she takes out Lisa, Bart and Maggie (I think) to a carnival. To quote Homer's Brain: "I would have never thought of that!" This episode is one of my all time favorites. I like everything about it. I mean, what's not to like?! And plus this episode gave me my all time favorite simpsons line "I am the lizard queen!" I almost DIED when I heard that! And in conclusion, this is a great episode and I'd recommed it to anyone and everyone! Thank you David for this GREAT episode!moreless

I actually loved this one! It was actually one of my personal favorites. I liked how they made an illusion of bush Gardens and call it Duff Gardens. The best part of this episode out of all parts was when Lisa got drunk by sipping Duff out of the beer river and started having hallucinations. This was the era when the Simpsons were actually funny but it's all Family Guy's fault it's not too good now! Let me say that This Episode Is Actually In My Personal Opinion One Of Matt Groening's Best Simpsons Episodes That He Ever Dared To Make! Grade: A++++++++moreless
Aunt Selma realizes that she might wind up dying all alone and thinks that having a baby can relieve her loneliness. To test her maternal instincts, she takes Bart and Lisa to Duff Gardens, an amusement park, where she realizes that parenthood isn't all it's cracked up to be. At the park, Lisa gets high by drinking the water in the Little Land of Duff ride, and Bart misbehaves in his own unique way. Shaken by the experience, Selma is pleased to have no kids of her own and accepts her life and everyone in it, including Jub Jub, her pet iguana.moreless
Goof: While the "hoodlums" (Jimbo Jones, Kearney and Dolph) are making off with the bumper cars, they initially show Jimbo and Dolph in blue cars with Kearney in a red car. But when the scene changes to show them from behind, Jimbo's car has changed to Green while the other two cars remain the same color.

Walt Disney World
Duff Gardens appears to be a spoof of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The Little Land of Duff, complete with repetitive music, is similar to the It's a Small World river ride, and the street parade is similar to the Main Street Electrical ParadeEdit
