Un finale spettacolare,di cui per tutto viene rivelato verso la fine della stagione a me ci non mi dispiaciuto affatto.
  • Start of the relationship for Ned and Edna

After saving Ms. Krabappel's life, Ned Flanders and Edna start dating. Things go well until Ned is shocked to find out about all the men Ms. Krabappel dated, including Moe, Lenny, Comic Book Guy, and Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer. Afterward, Homer tries to convince Ned not to let Edna's past get in the way of a potential relationship between them. Not as hilarious as 500 Keys and Homer Scissorhands. Start of the relationship between Ned and Edna...not a fan, but I thought the storyline of them dating was a decent idea. My score is lower because it was getting boring in some of the part. The most hilarious part was Rod and Todd sewing Bart's clothes. I did found it funny that Edna used to dated some of the guys and Ned kept seeing them. There's a few more laughter in this episode. Overall, superb finale for season 22. 9/10moreless
  • Rather surprising twist on the lives of two Springfield regulars. Ending seemed to ruin it.

    8.0
No one would have ever seen the haggard Edna and goody-to-go Ned Flanders dating. Well, they do, and Ned does a good job at upholding his moral values to Edna, which at times, seem to rub off on her. We also get to see how the Simpsons admit to Homer being a jerk to Ned often, with the support from Marge. While there is much to laugh at in this episode, I don't think you will laugh out loud as much as you will in your head.

What this episode did was add great depths of development on many characters and continued the almost soap-operatic lives of Springfield citizens. It was a nice episode that only seemed squandered by the hast ending that seemed to hand the outcome out on the viewers. I found that to be rather poor taste.

Animation was suitable, and overall, it was a enjoyable episode to view.moreless
  • The twenty second season ends with Edna Krabappell literally falling into Ned Flanders' arms. The two begin a relationship, but Ned soon learns a secret from Edna's past which causes him to have second thoughts. Can Ned overcome his reluctance?moreless

The old saying "Save the best for last." certainly applies to season twenty-two of The Simpsons. "The Ned-liest Catch" is not just the best episode of the season, it is one of the best season finales of the entire series. This episode reminded me of why I have been a fan of The Simpsons since the beginning. The excellent dialogue, the site gags, the non-stop laughs, it's all here. The cliffhanger ending however prevents me from giving it a perfect score (though I will say it's very clever to have the fans decide the fate of Ned and Edna's relationship).moreless
  • Kind of a letdown in the end but it was superb for the most part

    9.0
I thought that this was a superb episode of "The Simpsons" even though it was a letdown at the end of the episode. This episode wasn't as good or funny as the previous two episodes "500 Keys" and "Homer Scissorhands" but it was still enjoyable to me. It was great that Ned Flanders finally found someone to love and care for even though it kind of dragged in one or two scenes. There were still some funny scenes even though there weren't that many. It was very funny when Homer threw Bart at Flanders over the fence. It was hilarious when Ned Flander's kids took off Bart's clothes to do chores and then Nelson looks through the window and laughs at Bart and then gives one of Flander's kids his coat and says "Can I get this by Tuesday?". It was also hilarious when Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer went out with Ms. Edna in the past. Homer also running to talk to Flanders while Flanders is exercising was funny. The ending was a letdown because we have to wait til' the 23rd season to hear the answer which won't premiere until September. I would vote NO because Edna went out with so many guys and Ned Flanders doesn't deserve to go out with a woman that went out with a lot of men in the past and you even heard her... she said that she was proud of going out with so many men. Anyways, What do you guys think? Should Ned Flanders and Ms. Edna stay together in the 23rd season of "The Simpsons"?... vote now at the official Simpsons website and watch the first episode of the 23rd season in September to find out. Overall, a superb episode of "The Simpsons" despite the ending being a letdown. 9/10moreless
