  • Eye really didn't like this.

Bad. Now that I got the review outta the way... Usually when there is a joke or a gag that goes beyond and above, like when Homer gets his stomach ripped out by a raccoon one episode long ago, his stomach is shown, guts visible, organs pumping and very graphic. As soon as the scene ends he is back to normal, which is usually the case. In this instance "they" decided to leave the eyes out for the rest of the episode. Thank god i had tivo and fast forward all the eye out parts and man did it last a long time. Even the scorpions eyes made me cringe and my body shudder. all in all a gross episode that i will never watch again.moreless

This episode started just great but the storyline goes on and it started being weird and makes my score much lower. I has to be honest, I gave this show a general score but most of them aren't that perfect and I found Family Guy a little better than this. As I put, this episode was decent and there's some funny parts in it but the episode got more weird and weird. What I meant weird is the eye popping effect. It got really annoying. Overall, a mediocre done episode. 5/5/10moreless
  • Meh.. this episode was okay

    6.0
After being impressed with tonight's new Family Guy episode "The Hand That Rocked the Wheelchair", this episode really wasn't that impressive. The roadrunner and coyote joke in the beginning of this episode was funny. When Grandpa gets kicked out of the retirement home and says "I got a right to be cranky, the food stinks and the TV only has one channel, and then the guy says "That's a fish tank", then Grandpa says "You're a fish tank", then the guy says "That is so hurtful" and cries on the other guy and says "I wish I was a fish tank then I can filter out in nasty words" was the hilarious moment in this episode. It was also funny when Grandpa said "We don't even know if this knife is safe" and then he throws the knife at the Mrs. Butterworth syrup. It was also funny when everyone mistakes that Walter guy for Willy Wonka or something else. Okay, this episode really wasn't that good because Grandpa takes the drug pills and so does everyone else pretty much and there eyes pop up. It was just unneeded for the eyeballs to pop up and all that. Overall, not a bad episode but it could have been better especially without the eye popping out. 6/10moreless
  • Not good...

    Very dissapointing.
  • Not the best.

    5.5
This was probably one of the worst episodes of the season. First, it wasn't all that funny and the plotline was just plain boring. I got bored not even halfway through the episode, and second, the whole eyeball thing (in my opinion) was just gross. Definitely not one of my favorite episodes. 5.5/10

    • Show Title: Santa's Little Helper flying on his doghouse like Snoopy as the WWI Flying Ace in his Sopwith Camel who gets shot at by the Red Baron.
Billboard Gag: Springfield Mall for Rent. Free retail space with every purchase.
Blackboard Gag: I'm not here on a spitball scholarship.
Couch Gag: The scene switches to a computer with The Simpsons: Couch Gag Game on screen. The cursor moves over to select the various characters to participate, picking each member of the family. When the "Play Game" prompt is clicked, the usual scene of the family running to the couch is played before it changes from color to black and white with the words "Game Over", colored in red dropping to the middle of the screen.

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner

The opening scene of this episode parodies the numerous Looney Tunes shorts starring the duo created by legendary animation director Chuck Jones, making their debut in 1949. The majority of these shorts are set in the desert, where despite his genius and various gadgets and traps, the Wile E. Coyote's efforts to make a meal out of the Road Runner are always thwarted.

    • The Scorpion's Tail

The title is an allusion to the water slide ride at Noah's Ark Family Park called The Scorpion's Tail. This is North America's first looping waterslide.
