Who was the Episode MVP ?

  • Marge becomes a cop , Homer messes with her equipment, such as spraying pepper spray on his eggs and using her radar gun on cards being shuffled, until he gets arrested for stealing Marge's hat. Eventually, Homer finds an illegal pants ring in his home.moreless

Funny, but not a legendary one. Though it does a good job showing the incompetence of the springfield police, and the continued stupidity of Homer. Although what I want to know is how herman is friends with homer and company. There might be an explanation, but I do not care to know.
  • Perfect

Marge's life needs something new in it. So, she catches a criminal and soon after decides to become a cop. At first, all is great, but then she is forced to arrest Homer, and they have a fight. Will they patch things up?

I like this episode a lot, probably more so than most other people, and I really can not explain why, I just think it is a great episode from season 6. I really like this episode and I think it is a super funny episode, so my grade for this episode is a super easy A+. Perfectmoreless

After she helps catch a petty criminal, Marge decides that her calling in life is to become a police officer. As a member of the Springfield Police Department, Marge experiences feelings of power and authority that she's never known before. Homer, on the other hand, is resentful of his wife's new job and takes the opportunity to flaunt the law. Marge is forced to arrest him. Once released, Homer plays a routine game of poker with his pals, but one of the players, Herman, is hiding criminal activities that Marge is forced to bust. • QUOTES (16)

    • (during the shooting test)
Chief Wiggum: You missed the baby, the blind man...

    • Homer: A counterfeit jeans ring operating in my car hole! I'm gonna go tell everyone…
      Herman: Not so fast!
      Homer: Ooookay... (slows down)
Herman: Maybe you should just stop entirely.

    • Moe: Garage? Hey, fellas, the garage. Well, ooh la-di-da, Mr. Frenchman.
Homer: Well, what do you call it?
      Moe: A car hole.

    • Barney: Hey, Homer, I'm worried about the beer supply. After this case, and the other case, there's only one case left!

    • Reverend Lovejoy: Alright Hans…time to go.
Hans Moleman: But he ate my last meal!
Reverend Lovejoy: If that's the worst thing that happens to you today, consider yourself lucky.
Hans Moleman: Are you really allowed to execute people in a local jail?
Reverend Lovejoy: From this point on, no talking…

    • Marge: Homer! Taking an officers cap is an arrestable offence.
Homer: What are you gonna do about it, huh!? What are you gonna do? Oooh, I'm officer Marge, I'm gonna arrest you!

    • Marge: Illegal gambling in my house!?
Moe: Y…Your house? Your house? Gee it's so glamorously decorated I thought I was in Vegas! Hey you guys lied to me; you said I was in Vegas!

    • Homer: Hey, hurry up with the cards, Lenny. I've got you clocked at 2 miles per hour!
Lenny: Hey put that away… those radar guns give you cancer!
Homer: All the more reason to hurry up! Hey, what could be moving at 100 miles per-- (Lenny punches him)

    • Lenny: I picked up a nudie deck for our game.

Chief Wiggum: Hey! I told you you don't get your gun until you tell me your name.
Cop Trainee: I've had it up to here with your rules!

    • Homer: Marge, you being a cop makes you the man, which makes me the woman, and I have no interest in that. Besides occasionally wearing the underwear which, as we discussed, is strictly a comfort thing.
