I thought that this was a great episode of "The Simpsons". Not my favorite episode of the season but it's enjoyable and I don't see anything awful about this episode. The episode did very boring in some parts though which is the reason why my score is low plus the fact that both storylines in the episode were lacking after a while. There were some parts that did give me a good laugh though such as Carl and Lenny enjoying Homer's blurt-outs at the movie theater and high-fiving him, Homer's line "That's What She Said" and then he drives by and high-fives Lenny and Carl, the fact that Krusty the Clown has monkey @$$ hair on his hamburgers and Bart uses that attempt to give Nelson his comeuppance, Homer squirting the lemon on that dude's eye and it did NOT work but he uses the lemon to squirt in his eye and it did work, Cletus the NFL Dancing Robot's appearance and Homer telling him that nobody likes him, and some more. I also thought Bryan Cranston guest starring in this episode as the man (who Homer thinks is a movie actor) helping Homer out and teaching him on to become a better husband. All of his techniques and how to help Homer be a better husband was very entertaining to see. Bryan Cranston is a very good movie/television actor so I was very excited about him guest starring here and he did a terrific job on that. This episode may not be the best but it was fun to watch and it's an episode I can watch again in the future. Overall, a great episode of "The Simpsons". 8/10moreless
  • It was alright

Wasn't the best of the season but wasn't the worst of the season either. I only laughed the hardest at the lime part but the rest was still pretty enjoyable.

    • (Lenny has just told Marge that Homer has been having the paid vacation; Marge storms off in a huff)
Carl: What'd you say to her?
Lenny: Nothing. I thought I was just making small talk, but it turns out I was making big talk.

    • Kent Brockman: (reporting) Childhood obesity. It's not funny anymore. Breakfast cereals where the prize inside is diabetes. And soda cups the size of hot tubs have made every state Mississippi fat.

    • Nelson: I gotta go liberate some cash from your brother.
Lisa: Well, if you must. See if you can find out where my dolls are.
Nelson: You might not like the answer.
      Lisa: I just want closure!

    • Grandpa: No one will tell me if I'm a ghost or not!

  • NOTES (1)

    • Show Title: Groundskeeper Willie flying around using his leaf blower to keep himself in the air.
      Billboard and Chalkboard Gags: None.
Couch Gag: The scene switches to a local stadium where fans, including the family, are instructed to raise the cards they were provided. Everyone quickly complies except Homer, who's more concentrating on eating his hot dog. He finally obliges and raises his card, which bears the image of his face, completing the giant picture of the family seated on the couch together.

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • Lenny's imaginary elephant friend resemble Big Bird's imaginary elephant friend named Snuffleupagus, from the kids show Sesame Street.

    • Super Size Me

When Bart's class is watching a movie of a man who eats Krusty Burger for a month and has tests that eating Krusty Burger would change his cholesterol and gaining weight and tests the nutritional value of fast food. This is a parody of the 2004 documentary movie Super Size Me where a man who tries to eat McDonalds food for a month and he supersizes his food to see his weight, and cholesterol has changed.
