When we see Krusty with his shirt off, he didn't have a pacemaker scar, a birthmark or a third nipple as we previously saw it in "Kamp Krusty".
Krusty's half brother is Luke Perry.
Elizabeth Taylor tells her agent that she doesn't want to do the reunion special. She then watches the show and laments, "I gotta fire that agent." We later see her peaking in the window to Moe's Tavern as Bart gives a toast to Krusty.
In Latinamerica, instead of saying "Luke Perry", everybody said "Robert Redford".
One of the newspaper articles is titled "Gabbo to Have 'Real Boy' Operation".
Originally, in a deleted scene, Krusty told viewers before getting cancelled that if anyone watched his show he would send viewers a sex book of himself just before being taken away by the FBI. Instead Krusty told people that if anyone watched his show he would send viewers a check for forty dollars.
Gabbo does an immitation of Vin Scully, the current Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster.
Apu writes down Marge's height as 8'6, including her hair.
When Homer visits Marge in his Halloween costume, he's wearing the same costume as Evil Homer from "Whacking Day."
The Mayor's seal says, "Corruptus in Extremis."
When the family runs out of clothes, Homer can fit into Marge's wedding dress. This alludes to the fact that Marge was pregnant when Homer and Marge got married as mentioned in previous episodes such as "I Married Marge."
In the highway out of Springfield, we see a sign with posted miles: 47 to Shelbyville, 63 to North Haverbrook, and 678 to Mexico City. This is interesting since Shelbyville is seen as a rival city, but is so far away (not to mention that, in "Lemon of Troy," there is a signed border indicating the two cities touch). Also, 678 miles to Mexico City puts Springfield somewhere in Texas if not Mexico.
The conjugal visit trailer next to Homer and Marge's features a bumper sticker reading: DONT COME A-KNOCKIN' IF THIS VANS A ROCKIN'
According to Dr. Hibbert, Marge has webbed toes.
According to the DVD commentary for this episode when Marge is hauled off to jail she used to say "Who's watching the Kwik-E-Mart?" And Julie Kavner (the voice of Marge) was so annoyed by the line that there is one take where she said "Who's watching the Kwik-E-Mart and who the F--- cares."
Homer wears a devil's costume when the family visits Marge in prison, because he doesn't have anymore clean clothes.
Goof: When Barry White is singing and Lisa is playing bass, Lisa is first playing right handed, in the next scene she is playing left handed, and then returns to normal.
Apu announces that there is a snake hidden in the store. The first person to find it wins a free Squishee.
The Springfield Christian School sign reads, "We Put the Fun in Fundamentalist Dogma".
At the episode's end, Nelson and Jimbo get emotional in the civic defense shelter, where they and their two bully buddies have been the whole show. LOOK CLOSELY at Kearney's face; you can see stubble around his mouth. This is one of many gags throughout the series that he is much older than a typical (or any) elementary school student should be.
