Episode Summary

EDIT

Moe finds a new lease on life when rich venture capitalists take an interest in his homemade whiskey. Then, Grampa injures himself while babysitting Bart, and quickly discovers he prefers being cared for by his grandson than the staff at the nursing home. Also, Lisa takes exception to a “Tupac-at-Coachella”-style hologram of jazz legend Bleeding Gums Murphy and Sonny Rollins appears to ask her not to boycott the record label.

  • An improvement on recent Simpsons

    8.0
While the A plot was bland and mixed, the B plot had a lot going for it.
  • Blah blah simpsons

    6.5
Moe goes full throttle emo and wants to commit suicide, he fails at it and goes on a trip with a bunch of people to see how life is good with the purchase of a new suit. Stuff happens and the episode ends with normal status quo. This is an episode that could have been played in any season at anytime. Kind of dry, as I mentioned before; I don't blame the show for becoming boring in many ways, I blame 24 years of the same show doing it.

Still like the show but it does get old quick now.moreless

      Billboard and Chalkboard Gags:  None.
Couch Gag:  Ice sculptors enter and carve a huge block of ice into an image on the family sitting on the couch.  Afterward, Grampa enters, and feeling chilly, turns up the thermostat, causing the sculpture to melt, flooding the living room in the process.
