  • Talk showing quickly discussing issues and topics of the day

    8.6
Fast paced show reviewing news items and topics of the day. Particularly enjoy the panelist Rachel Maddow and the debate sessions with Max Kellerman. Program usually gives both sides of an issue without talking it to death. Time slot was changed from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. to allow open discussion of sensitive issues.
  • A very entertaining way to stay caught up on news, and get (usually) two differing opinions on the same story.

    8.5
I usually dont like watching news programs, but this one seems to appeal to younger viewers. I really like the way that it shows upcoming topics, as it does in the sports program PTI. The topics are very good, and the debate is usually very good as well, between Tucker and a guest. Also the last 5 minutes of the show, called "The Cutting Room Floor" usually has pretty off the wall news stories.

On the other hand, the one segment of the show that I dislike the most would be "The Outsider", where Tucker invites a guest from outside the news industry (almost always Max Kellerman) to defend topics despite his real opinion.

Overall, the show is very entertaining, and is a fun way to get the news and watch a quick debate about each topic. I was split in classifying this program between Guilty Pleasure or Daily Fix. Either way it gets an 8.5 in my book.moreless
  • This is one news show I cannot get into.

    5.2
Try as I may, I cannot get into this show. The format is pretty good it's the guests and the host that are getting on my nerves at times. I liked Tucker when he was on "Crossfire" because he was constantly fighting with James Carville about issues, but on this show he seems a little to laid back. It's pretty evident why it got pushed back to 11:00PM ET on MSNBC each night as no one was watching. Though, in theory, how many are going to be watching it at that time.moreless
