  • Agent Steve Austin saves the world, again.

    6.0
The episode could have been the direct follow-up to the 2nd or 3rd pilot film. It also contains the usual elements like, a Bond-esque villain, a submarine, a laser beam weapon, big computers, endless corridors and a bunch of very dim accomplices.

After a very long run-up of physical training, the bionic man gets send in a torpedo to Norway, where he has to stop terrorist Quail. It gets interesting when Violette reveals herself as an unlikely Interpol agent (played by Arlene Martel, also known as Mr. Spock's fiance T'Pring).

In spite of some inspirational direction (the torture scene), this episode goes nowhere.

It even ends like a average Bond adventure with a big explosion and yes, Steve gets the girl.moreless
