This is one of my favorite episodes so far of the series, they first scene where Lina gets captured is hilarious, we get Noonsa the fish creature sucking Lina\\\'s face and she so creeped out its hilarious. The we get the scene where the mummy man decides to get personal with Lina and starts firing insults, another funny moment. Now this episode where we get real character development from Zelgadis, and begin to start finding out who is good, and who is not so good, so this episode i certainly a must see for fans of the series, It gets Thumbs up overall.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Goof: It's established that the characters need air to breathe underwater. However, after Zelgadis leaves his Ray Wing bubble, he not only doesn't have to hold his breath, but can speak to cast a Fireball spell.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Noonsa: Hm...so my feelings don't count.
Lina: Oh great. A flounder with feelings.

    • Gourry: Bartender, have you seen this girl around here?
Bartender: Hmmm, I don't think so. I would've remembered an ugly monster like that.
      Gourry: Ugly monster?
(Gourry looks at his drawing as clown horns blow.)
Gourry: Gee, and I thought I drew it to look just like her.

    • Zolf: (Holding Dilgear's mouth open painfully) Keep jerking us around...and these teeth get used!
      Lina: Uh...guys? I don't-

    • Zolf: How dare you!
Lina: Oh just SHUT UP! Is that any way to treat a sorceress? You gangly, gauzed-up, third rate, magic using mummy man!
Zolf: Gauzed up? Third rate? Nobody calls me that and gets away with it!
Dilgear: (holding Zolf back) Whoa, Zolf, man. Take it easy. Better calm down.
Zolf: Don't tell me to calm down. Now she's gonna get what she deserves!
Lina: Oh yeah? I'd like to see you just try …
Zolf: Here (puts cloth in Lina's mouth so she can't talk) That's enough out of you! Now prepare yourself!
      Lina: mmm-mmm.
      (Zolf approaches.)
Zolf: Little runt! Pig face! Flat chest! Shrew! Saucer-eyed egomaniac! Is that really your nose?! What's with that hair?!
Dilgear: Man, this is really starting to get personal!
Zolf: If I'm third rate, then you're fifth rate! (giggle) Ooh, see how scared I am of your MAGIC powers! Nyah-nyah ne nyah nyah. Nyah-nyah ne nyah nyah.
      (Lina screams and cries.)

    • (Zelgadis cuts Lina's rope free.)
      Lina: But why?
      (Zelgadis tosses Lina her sword.)
Lina: Ahh, I think I know why you did that. You must have fallen for your lovely captive. That's it, isn't it? (giggle)
(Zelgadis stares back at her solemnly.)
      Lina: Or maybe not.
Zelgadis: I thought you wanted to escape? (walks away)
Lina: Oh, I'm escaping, I'm escaping.
