    • TRIVIA (3)

      • Tourist Attraction: Rikido Village

A tourist attraction, much like the ones in our world is shown here. "Throw a coin in the fountain and ring the bell and good things will happen." as said by the Rikido Tourist Board.

      • The Temple of Sand: Lina's Reason

Lina reveals at the beginning of this episode her reasoning behind the search for the Claire Bible Manuscripts. While greed for power may be a factor, Lina's reasoning here is that she must find magic that can stand up to Gaav the Demon Dragon king, the Demon Lord who sent Mazenda and Kanzel after them earlier.

      • Goof: Auntie Aqua describes Lina's vision as "another past. One of many possible ones". And yet, Amelia is there. At the time when Lina was fighting Shabrangido they hadn't even met Amelia yet.

    • QUOTES (9)

      • Auntie Aqua: You will soon face an enemy who, while in human form is stronger in battle than any mere man.

      • Lina: Oh, Gourry. We've been traveling together for a long time now, haven't we?
Gourry: Oh? Has it been that long?
Lina: Well, you know. It just...It just seems so natural to think of you being with me.
Gourry: Well, Lina, I am your protector, after all.
Lina: So then...how long do you plan on protecting me?
Gourry: I don't know. The rest of my life?
Lina: The rest of your...?! (thinking) Oh brother. What am I doing?! What that old lady said has me acting totally weird! (out loud) Gourry... Don't you have somebody waiting for you? Somebody...I don't know...someone you really like?
(Gourry falls asleep and she cuddles up right next to him.)

      • Xellos: Just who is that old woman? She doesn't seem to be one of Gaav's monsters in disguise, but...

      • Auntie Aqua: Oh, and by the way. That man with the long hair...
        Lina: You mean Gourry?
Auntie Aqua: Just what is your relationship with him?
Lina: Huh?! What...uh, relationship? Well, uh...well, uh...
Auntie Aqua: Is he important to you?
Lina: Wha..? Come on, Auntie! Cut it out! He's just some guy I can't get rid of who says he's my protector!
Auntie Aqua; Oh, I see. I see...
Lina: Could we just drop the subject, please?

      • Gourry: If we didn't have enough, Lina would probably eat the camels.
        Lina: WHO would eat them?!

      • Xellos: If you're lucky you'll find it soon. If not, you can spend an entire lifetime and never find it.
Lina: I guess you're right! So that's how it works... Well, let's give it a try!

      • Lina: You know what? He's right. And when Gourry's right about something, I feel even worse.
        Gourry: Thanks a lot.

      • Lina: Look, I don't mind traveling around looking for a Claire Bible manuscript, but why can't we find a decent copy of one?! All we do find are things with weird dance steps, phony detectors, and stuff that sounds like the Claire Bible!

      • Xellos: Well, well, it's been a long time. What do you want with us today?
Saygram: To take all your lives, of course. You've become a bit of a nuisance for us.
Xellos: Oh my, those aren't the sort of words I expected to hear from someone who turned tail and ran like a coward.
