  • The peak of the brilliance of Vic and Bob is this surreal sketch show

    10
Vic and Bob moved to the BBC shortly after Vic Reeves Big Night Out finished. Then they came up with this sketch show which I consider to be their best show. The comedy was brilliant, with skits such as Slade in Residence, the two farting frenchmen, the Stots (in series 2), Mulligan and O'Hare and the Bra Men are all wonderfully surreal and entertaining characters. There are regular interlude by the Booze F'rt Baby mn on a tirade to get his baby some drink. And of course there is Uncle Peter, who completely random ramblings about donkeys amongst other things are always brilliant to see. The duo also banter with each other at their desk, which often lead to a slapstick fight or something completely random happening. Overall, this is the best sketch shoe the two ever produced in my opinion, and will never be surpassed.moreless
