The soccer coach thing was kind of random, but at the same time it was still involved in an interesting plot line that looks to be over. The man was carted away in handcuffs instead of Tonys guys whacking him, which just shows us another side of tony Soprano that we aren't used to seeing. Hes ruthless in the same episode that he chooses not to go along and kill his daughters soccer coach. The scenes with Junior in the early parts of the episode were actually really boring, as he got more devoloped into the episode, his scenes became more natural and better acted. I hope they dont continue to expand on the story with his much younger female friend in the next couple of episodes. The first season is drawing to a close yet I still can't really put a theme on the first season. In some ways it just seems like introduction, there really has been no set theme that you could set the season two. Standard Sopranos episode - had a little family drama, little mob drama, little comedy, and the phycologist scenes.moreless
  • Another great hour of viewing.

Its very interesting that parts of this episode are not situated in New Jersey. The writers do take from real life where seniors choose their vacation spots. Boca is known for retirement homes and snow birds, I was a bit shocked and amused that they maintained the stereotype. The pressure tactics they use for the soccer coach into staying is typical is great to watch. The movers guys with the television is very funny. The way Junior is with his secret is so life like, in the sense secrets hardly remain secret. I like that a non mob character Artie was a little more involved in this episode. Goes to show childhood friends remain childhood friends no matter what happens in adulthood.moreless
