I thought that it was a step up from the first episode of the season, but is still lacking a long term story arch to really sink your teeth into. Tony and Juniors relationship is one of the shows most complex and I thinkt thats where this episode really gets some points for the writing. There was a time when Tony would have shot Junior to death and now he is carrying him out of his house to take him to the hospital for falling down in the shower. What the long term gameplan of Tonys mother is I dont know. I cant quite figure out her importance to the characters in their current state. She played a large role in the first season as far as shaping the dysfunctional family that is the Sopranos but Im failing to see any reason for her to be alive that much longer. Overall, Id say the epsiode was your average, typical Sopranos episode. Nothing amazing but nothing so bad that it was painful to make it through the entire hour.moreless
  • Not alot of action but fills up the time with great drama

In this episode we learn what I wanted to know last season but wasn't sure. Who was the real rat of the organization? While there were hints, the show didn't exactly lead us to who it really was. Only that one of the bosses was an informant and nothing else. I like how Tony lays down the law but is still kind to his uncle. I like how Tony sort of mixes the crews around a little with him taking on one of Juniors. Even after everything happening we still se Tony kind enough to rush his uncle to the hospital.moreless

    • The New Jersey State Police have never worn a shield type badge on their shirts, they have always had a triangle type badge on their hats-from day one. Also if you look closely at the patrol car it has different overhead lights than the NJSP uses and no and/or incorrect door markings .

  • QUOTES (10)

    • Black Protester: I want to talk to your foreman.
Christopher: You want to talk to the foreskin?
      Black Protester: You're a wise-ass motherfucker.

    • Reverend Herman James, Sr.: Never underestimate a man's determination to be free.

    • Junior: A Chinaman goes to see the eye doctor. After the exam the doctor said, "I know why you're having trouble." The Chinaman says, "why?" Doctor said, "you have a cataract." Chinaman says, "no, I have a Rincoln Continental." (short pause) You don't get it?
Bobby: I get it. He drives a Lincoln Continental. What?

    • Janice: You know Livia pretty well, don't you? What is she into?
      Meadow: Negativity.

    • Tony: (on Livia) Dead people don't have houses.

    • Bobby: To the victor belongs the spoils.
Tony: Why don't you get the fuck out of here before I shove your quotation book up your fat fucking ass.

    • Tony: (to Bobby about his weight) I think it's time for you to seriously consider salads.

    • Junior: My father told me to never get old. I should have listened to him.

    • Judge Greenspan: Mr. Soprano, do you have a problem with wearing an electronic bracelet?
Junior: It sounds like Nazi Germany to me.
Judge Greenspan: Obviously you need a history lesson, sir.

    • Tony: I'm sellin' Ma's house. You understand, Janice? Now put that fucking sign back in the fucking ground and that's it. End of discussion. Period.
Janice: You're so left brained. Whether the sign is there or not, the house is still for sale. The agent still has the listing.
