This episode's theme song featured Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, Liz Allan and Norman Osborn.
Spider-Man: Look, I don't want to hurt you.
Molten Man: Feeling's mutual. Yet, here we are.
Spider-Man: (Referring to Molten Man) Is that an Oscar with my name on it? I was thinking Emmy, but spiders can't be choosers.
Professor Miles Warren: (To Norman Osborn) I reviewed Doctor Octavius' notes on creating Super Mercenaries with sub-dermal armor... The theory's sound, but his method of introducing the sub-dermal particles led to the "lab accident" known as Sandman. The key is nanotechnology. One simple infusion of microscopic nanobots and the particles can be evenly distributed throughout the subject.
Blackie Gaxton: ...Whatever, knock yourself out, Doc.
Molten Man
First Appearance in Amazing Spider-Man #28, Mark Raxton, the stepbrother of Liz Allen, was a scientist who stole an experimental liquid alloy from Spencer Smythe only to get covered in it. Afterwards, his skin became molten and became covered in flames. Desiring a cure, Molten Man committed many crimes to find it, only to be stopped constantly by Spider-Man.
