The Spying Game

Show Summary

The Spying Game is a two-part series about the world of espionage during the 1940's to the 1970's. It was narrated by Alan Bates and telecast on Channel 4 in January 1999. The first part entitled "Tools of the Trade" discusses the must have gadgets of a Cold War era spy such as mini-cameras, hidden microphones, false identities, and microdots. The second part called "Walls Have Ears" recounts the history of espionage. The show also featured interviews from real-life spies which added to its authenticity.
