      • Stone: You have a right to remain silent.
        Hired Muscle: Yeah, but she—
Stone: I think this would be a good time for you to start making use of it.

      • Kinneady: You know, you people are something else. First your father working with the cops, and now you looking to make some bread off your father's corpse.
Hoskins: Yeah. We people need to make it where we can.

      • Keller: (pulling gun out of Hoskins' purse) Where'd you get this?
Ms. Hoskins: You can get anything, anywhere, if you pay for it.

      • Keller: I've got it off my chest now.
Stone: I guess I better get off my duff then.

      • Ms. Hoskins: So now he gets police protection. After he's dead.

      • Stone: When I hit him with that bank report on the missing funds, he began to sweat. And when that girl waltzed across the room, he turned every color of the rainbow. That was it—finished.

      • Stone: You got out of the blocks pretty early, didn't you?
Keller: It wasn't too bad, really; 5:00 AM here, it's already 8:00 in the morning in Boston, ten at night in Tokyo; handled it all with the comforts of the bedside phone.
Stone: The bedside phone? (gets up) Whose bed? Come on. Huh? I been tryin to get ya since 7:30 this morning.
Keller: I dunno what you're talkin about.
