  • unique storyline

After seeing the title of this episode, a viewer discretion warning could be appropriate for adults and children for the upcoming opening scene. During a burlary in progress, a young boy is seen lifeless with blood from his head, Very unsettling and disturbing scene. The boy's father scuffles with the bugrlar, who escapes by motorcycle. He is caught, as Keller reads the suspect his miranada rights. It is revealed in court that the suspect did not have his hearing aid in when read his miranada rights. This, I thought ,set up an interesting story. The father, sensing justice would not be served, refused to testify against the burglar. That led to the father seeking his own justice . Ed Nelson(Robert Hobbes), portrayed his character's pain over the loss of his son brilliantly. No oweracting, subtely showing the pain in his eyes. The reveal that the burglar left the hearing aid at Hobb's home was a turning point, as Stone and Keller tried to find the evidence to tie the burglar to the murder.. They found the hearing aid, and saved Hobbs. This episode seemed to have the theme of be patient with the thought the storyline was unique, and it kept my interest throughout the episode.
