  • Hilarious

    9.0
Zack goes with his dad's band on the road. Meanwhile, London helps Maddie get an A in Phys Ed for school by making her carry her shopping bags. Maddie succeeds.

It could have been better. But is was still respectively good.
  • What's the critcism about this episode? I love it!

    9.5
Yes, we finally see Kurt Martin, a rather chilled father who is very funny! Zack leaves to stay with his dad, whilst Carey tries to be the "fun" mum. London helps Maddie get an "A" in PE!

A great episode. I love Kurt and I felt bad when Carey was blaming him.

    My favorite moments are:

Cody- "That's great...One question. Who are you and what have you done with my mother?"

  • This was not a favorite episode of mine. I have to admit that out of all of the episodes this one is one of my least favorites.

    7.0
This episode introduces Kurt, the father of Zack and Cody. I like Kurt but seriously, this episode wasn't that funny to me. It had funny moments but alot of it was just too serious and out of all of the episodes, I think that this one had more serious moments in it then any of the other ones. Kurt fighting with Carey, Carey fighting with Zack, Zack running away from home to live with his dad, Kurt hurting Zacks feelings and making him feel unwanted. Sorry, but the whole thing was just a little to serious for my liking. I liked it but not as much as I liked the other episodes.moreless
  • Zack and cody's Dad is finally seen.

    9.0
Zack and cody's father Kurt Martin returns. Zack gets tired of carey always telling him to do his work so he sneaks onto his dads bus the day he leaves. Carey and Kurt's role reverse making Carey the fun parent and Kurt the responsible parent. Meanwhile, London coaches Maddie how to be physically fit so she can pass her gym class.

This was an all around enjoying episode. We finally get to see the twins dad, we find out he is the fun parent. This was an all around great installment to the series and was very enjoyable to watch. This episode was awesome.moreless
  • ok episode...

    7.5
Zack and Cody's dad comes to visit. He is a rock star and he is very loose and allows his sons to do whatever they want. This puts Carey in a bad place and makes her look like the worse parent. In the end, Zack stowaways on his dad's touring bus and his dad finally gets strict. Meanwhile, Maddie is failing gym. No one is that weak! It was pretty unrealistic. Anyways, both stories were ok and sort of interesting. The whole father story was good until Zack stowed away and the Maddie story was funny but unrealistc. Overall, ok episode.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (16)

    • When Maddie falls off the treadmill, we can see that the treadmill was already standstill, not slowing down or anything, but at a standstill.

    • A running gag in this episode is when Kurt says something Carey doesn't like, she says "Thanks for trying".

    • When Maddie tries her first push-up, you can tell that she was pretending not to do one.

    • When Maddie is on that hanging thing with the fuzzy slippers and Maddie falls, you can tell she used force to fall off.

    • When London drops her bracelet in the bag you can tell Maddie fakes falling off.

    • When Maddie falls of the treadmill she goes flying up into the air. But if you fall off a treadmill you fall on the floor not shooting in the air.

    • Goof: In this episode Maddie couldn't pick up a stack of magazines but in "Cookin' With Romeo and Juliet", she picked up a heavy plant and brought it from London's suite to the front of the hotel; and in "Rumors", she picked up some magazines

    • When Maddie is running on the treadmill, she's going at a slow speed. When London brings out the shoes, she runs faster, and the treadmill goes faster. How could it go any faster if she didn't push the button to make it go faster? With some treadmills, if you run faster they go faster.

    • On the tour bus, Zack asks what's warm to eat, and Derek says ice cream. Zack says he'll drink it, but clearly Kurt hands him a slice of "cold" pizza

    • At the beginning Zack and Cody say that Kurt is taking them to one of his concerts, but later Kurt says that whenever he visits them he's on vacation.

    • When Zack says that it is noon, you can see Kurt's watch and it says a different time.

    • According to Zack, they haven't seen Kurt for 6 months. So if Carey is just now introducing him to Mr. Moseby, then Zack, Cody, and Carey haven't been at the Tipton longer than 6 months.

    • Mr. Moseby is always getting onto Zack and Cody for doing things they shouldn't in the hotel lobby, yet makes no comment when Carey comes skating up to the front desk.

    • Carey didn't come in until after midnight, at least, which means alot of people at the hotel must stay up late.

    • When Zack burps, you can tell it's fake.

    • If Kurt's next appearance is the Christmas episode and in this episode he says he'll be back sometime in a few months, then he must have visited them again sometime in the mean time.

  • QUOTES (35)

    • Carey: Hope you brought your appetite, cause I'm thinking Ice Cream for dinner!

      Cody: No, I'm serious.

    • Carey: I was mad when you sold our car for a new guitar. I was mad when when you brought home the wrong twins.

      Kurt: Whats Derek doing?
      Zack: Hugging a chicken.

    • Carey: Did you finish your homework yet?
      Cody: I did it already.
      Zack: You disgust me!

    • Zack: I'm going home to mother.
Kurt: That's exactly what you mother said when she left me, and a few other things I can't mention.

    • Maddie: This is an excerising machine?
London: It's very good for the biceps and triceps.
Maddie: Clearly I have no 'ceps' at all!

    • Kurt: I think we're in Ohio. Señor.

    • London: Imagine carrying these pages from store when your limo driver (makes quotes with her fingers) can't carry them because of his back because he (quotes with finger) hurt it saving someone's life.(Makes two seperate quotes)

    • Cody: Zack stowed away on Dad's Bus.
      Carey: No!
Cody: Yep. And I ate the last cupcake. (Starts crying)

    • Mr. Moseby: Have you heard from Zack?
Carey: Yeah, I sent him a five page e-mail saying how much I love him, how much I want him back and here's his reply.
Mr. Moseby: (Reading response) Back at you.
Carey: (Starting to cry) Back at me!

    • Kurt: Ok first things first. We have to call your mother. (Phone rings) Freaky how she does that.

    • Carey: You do know the last time Cody watched a horror movie I had to get rid of the monsters by scrubbing down his room with holy water!
      Cody: Well it worked!

    • Kurt: Remember to always listen to your mother...
Kurt, Zack, Cody: Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

    • Zack and Cody: (Pushing themselves on a luggage cart) Stroke! Stroke! Stroke!
      Carey: Oh, no, no, no.
      Zack and Cody: Stroke! Stroke!
Carey: No, no, no, no, no!
Mr. Moseby: It's a good thing their father is coming. The boys need a firm parental hand.
Kurt: (Also riding a luggage cart) Stroke, stroke, stroke!
Mr. Moseby: (Jumping out of the way and landing on the floor) Oh no!
Kurt: Coming through! (Crashes into a tree)
Carey: Mr. Moseby, I'd like you to meet my ex-husband Kurt.
Mr. Moseby: Well, I see the apples don't fall far from the tree.

    • Maddie: (Climbing a rope) Get the sandals. Get the sweater. Gonna make myself look better. I can make it. (Rings the bell) I made it! (Raising hands in victory) That can't be good! (Falls to the gym floor)

    • Carey: (Skates in) Mr. Moseby, have you seen Cody?
      Mr. Moseby: Am I twitching?
Carey: Well, when you see him, tell him to meet me at the park, and have him bring his mitt, knee pads, and a snorkel. Heh. Woo! (Leaves)
Cody: I don't even want to know what she had in mind.

    • Zack: I love life on the road. Poker, belching contests, and no one nags me to take a shower.
Cottie: Was that you? I thought something died in here.

    • Zack: You know, I'm still hungry. What else do we have to eat?
Kurt: What don't we have? We got your cold pizza, cold burgers, cold tacos.
Zack: What do we have that's warm?
      Derrick: Ice cream.
      Zack: Cool! I'll drink it!

    • Cody: (About Zack) I think he felt like you were dumping on him a lot.
Carey: Why did he say something?
Cody: Yeah, he said that you were dumping on him a lot.

    • Carey: Cody, have you seen your brother?
Cody: Nope, can't say I have. Not for a while now. In fact, until you mentioned it, I totally forgot I even had a brother. Zack, right? Stop staring at me. Okay, okay. I know where he is, I'll tell you! Just stop with the eyes. It burns!

    • Cottie: Derrick, man, you don't look so good.
Derrick: I can't help it. I get bus sick.
Kurt: Good thing we're touring America on a bus.
Derrick: I'm going to imagine I'm on a plane...oh, now I'm plane sick!

    • Carey: But as long as you live under my roof, you will follow my rules.
      Zack: Technically, it's Moseby's roof.

    • Carey: What is going on here?
Kurt: Oh, uh, we were watching Monster Chill Horror Theater... which I was dead set against, but they outnumbered me. Now, we're heading off to bed.
Carey: Dare I ask about the homework?
      Kurt: I wouldn't.

    • Kurt: All right, guys, come on, enough fooling around. It's time to do your homework, because it's... midnight.
      Kurt, Zack, & Cody: Oops.
Kurt: I'll just tell your mom that it's very important for boys to bond with their father. And if that doesn't work, I'll break down crying.
      Zack: Works for us.

    • Maddie: (After she fails to do a push-up) Can we go back to my hair?
London: Yes, it's as weak and brittle as you.

    • London: Okay, first things first. That outfit, horrible.
Maddie: Can we go on to number two?
      London: Your hair -
      Maddie: Three!

    • London: Hey, Maddie, how are you?
Maddie: Well, my straight A grade point average is being threatened just because Sister Mary Fredo is failing me in PE. Now I'm not going to get into a good college just because I can't do a sit up, run, or climb a stupid rope.
London: Don't you know the answer to "how are you?" is, "Fine. What can I do for you, London?"
Maddie: Fine. What can I do for you, London?

    • Kurt: Zack, your mom's absolutely right. You're going to do your homework... in a limo.
      Zack: A limo? Cool!
      Cody: Bye, mom!
Carey: No, wait. Not too late, and don't forget to spellcheck... Oh, who am I kidding? They're not doing any homework.

    • Carey: I am so ticked at the boys. Their father's coming and they were supposed to be home by 5:00.
Maddie: I guess you're a little nervous about seeing your ex?
Carey: Why would you say that?
Maddie: Because you just ate my decorative soaps.

    • Zack: Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm going home to mother.
Kurt: It's exactly what your mom said when she left me, and a few other things that I can't mention.

    • Derrick: (About Carey) I didn't get to talk to her.
Zack: That's because you don't know her.
Derrick: And now I never will.

    • Carey: Look, just tell me he's okay and doesn't have any tattoos.
Kurt: He's okay. And it says "Mom." (He laughs) Oh, come on, have a sense of humor!
      Carey: I married you, didn't I?
      Kurt: There it is!

    • Kurt: I'm sorry, man.
      Mr. Moseby: It's Mr. Moseby.
Kurt: Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Moseby man.
      Zack: This is our dad.
      Mr. Moseby: Oh, no kidding.

    • Carey: Hope you brought your appetite, cause I'm thinking ice cream for dinner!
Cody: That sounds great! Just one thing; who are you and what have you done with my mother?
Carey: Oh, you are such a kidder!
Cody: No, I'm serious. This can be reference to a part in a book, Coraline. When Coraline asks the Other Mother where her real parents are.

    • When London said she had learned her moves from a monk, she might be referring to the monks from Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior, which Brenda Song had starred in.

    • Monster Chiller Horror Theatre

After Zack turns on 'Monster Chiller Horror Theatre', the music that plays from the TV is the same track from 'Ghost of 613'.

    • Zack: How hard could it be to find the volume of helium in a tank 17 cubic feet by...ooh.

This is a reference to a geometrical equation used to find volume when working with 3 dimensional objects.
