In the episode, "Footloser", Maddie states that "all her brothers and sisters are pitching in", implying that she had numerous siblings but in this episode she has only the one brother.
In "Boston Holiday" Maddie said London had a birthday party at the Tipton. In this episode they mention she was at a cruise and now she has another birthday party. So obviously she celebrated her birthday three separate times.
When London's father's security is moving towards the "East Wing" you can't see any feet in the middle of the circle they form; so, apparently, Mr. Tipton wasn't in the middle of the circle.
Goof: When the lady is rushing the boys out of the store, if you look closely you can see that she accidentally knocks off the mannequin in the background with her elbow while grabbing the boys shoulders.
When Mary Margaret steps on Liam, you can tell that she didn't even touch his foot, she just stomped the floor.
Mosbey tells London she has 29 minutes with each of her parents. Right off the bat, she knows she has 2 extra minutes. If London is so dumb, how does she know that 29 and 29 make 58, which then has 2 more minutes in an hour.
In this episode when the boys are looking for a present for Maddie and Cody runs in to the mannequins, when he falls on the last mannequin you can see the black mat that Cody falls on.
In this episode, Maddie is just turning 16 and the twins are 13-13 1/2. Meaning that she is 2 1/2-3 years older than Zack and Cody. But in the Prom Story, Zack says that Maddie is 3 1/2 years older.
In Poor Little Rich Girl Mr. Moseby mentions Maddie's sister. What ever happened to her?
In "Day Care"; Liam was watching his grandma for Maddie, but he looks about 8 and doesn't look like he should be allowed to stay home alone, or as he said in the note that he put on his grammy's pj and that he was going to the movies - he is way too small for that too.
Old Guy: I 29.
(Maddie looks confused)
Old Guy: (louder) I 29.
Maddie: I hate my life!
Zack: Cheer up Maddie.
Maddie: I will not cheer up! Give me one reasons why I should be cheer in any form.
Zack: Well you got bingo. (gestures to Old Guy) Bingo over here my good man!
(Old man tries to go down the stairs by himself but the other bingo people need to help him)
Old Guy: I can take it from here.(Climbs down)
Old Guy: Awww, sorry this card is mismarked you didn't get an O. You only got the BING.(accidentally spitting on her face)
Maddie: Thank you guys for coming!
Carey: We told you we show up!
Maddie: It looks like everyone is having a great time, even London and her dad!
London: We don't need to have fancy stuff to have fun! We can have fun just the two of us.
(Maddie and London look around and look at each other, then everybody comes in)
Maddie & London: Thank Goodness!
Maddie: Great, my grandma is hooking up in my sweet 16!
London: I don't need an invitation, this is my party!
Guard: Do you have an ID?
London: Don't you recognize me? Yay me! (Claps)
Guard: Oh yes! in that case, why don't you go along with the other London Tipton's trying to sneak in.
(London looks at the impersonators and they to the same thing)
Guard: Back in the line "Yay Me"!
Maddie: (To Her Grandma) I'm sorry you came here all the way from Portland for this lame party.
Carey: You know sometimes you build something so much up that sometimes it can't live up to expectations!
London: Maddie didn't have no expectations!
Carey: Don't be so sure, she expected her friends to be there.
London: My dad wants me to be with him and my mom wants me to be her but both of them don't want to be with each other what should I do?!
Mr. Moseby: Breathe in!
(London breathes in but doesn't breathe out)
Mr. Moseby: Breathe out!
Mr. Moseby: Mr. Tipton I should inform you that your ex-wife has already arrived!
Mr. Tipton: Form the barrier men! (They move to the right wing)
Mr. Moseby: No sir you are in the left wing!
Mr. Moseby: Excuse me gentlemen this is a private party!
Mr. Tipton: Don't worry Moseby is me!
Mr. Moseby: Oh sir! Its good to see you....well your security guards!
Carey: So how does it feel you be almost 16? Maddie: Almost terrific! I may not have Ferris Wheels and Caviar like London, but I have a great place, a great band, and a great dress! Carey: Sounds....Great!
Zack: My brother is just practicing the Heimlich maneuver! You can never be too safe!
Cody: Sorry London, but Maddie already invited us to her birthday!
London: Why are there people standing on bananas?
Cody: How about I help you buy her a perfect gift!
Zack: So you're not mad that I took your present?
Cody: Nah! As long as you're not mad that I gave your gift bag to that cute maid from the second floor!
(Maddie pulls Zack to dance)
Zack: And oddly I'm okay with that!
Zack: I insist you open my gift! This party may barely have a pulse! Hey is that guy breathing?! (Old Man Breathes) Okay good!
Zack: How about opening my gift?
Maddie: What for? Unless there is 100 kids in there having fun I've hit Rock Bottom!
London: I'm having the worst time! I don't know half of the people here! My parents got me running back and forth and my ice sculpture makes me look fat!
Carey: Don't worry honey! It will melt!
Mr. Moseby: Well now if you excuse me I have to go mercy the elephants, one of them refuse to wear the funny hat!
Maddie: Grandma do you really think that my friends will come?
Grandma: Yea honey! Until they come everyone is having fun!
Maddie's Mom: I will not let my baby have crooked teeth!
Maddie's Dad: I had crooked teeth in high school and it never held me back.
Maddie's Mom: You haven't had a job in five years!
Maddie's Dad: That's because I can't stand to be away from you!
Maddie: Yea everyone is having a ball!
London: Honey we should catch up later!
Mr. Moseby: Who was that?
London: I have no idea!
London: More party crashers?
Mr. Moseby: There is enough party crashers that they have their own party outside.
Maddie: Well hope you have fun because all of my real friends will be at my party!
London: And all of my real friends will be at my party!
Maddie: Well then, I guess we're not friends!
London: Now there's an invitation! Zack, Cody, now you'll be coming to my party, of course. I mean, why wouldn't you?
Maddie: Because they're coming to my party!
Cody: London, will you really have Ferris Wheels?
Maddie: They won't be taken by your Ferris Wheels, and your Elephants! Right?
Cody & Zack: Right!
London: I'll also have gift bags with plasma TVs!
Cody: Now THAT, I will be taken in by!
Zack: Well, I won't! (Whispers to Cody) Get me an extra gift bag!
Maddie: I'll come to your party if you come to mine!
London: And I'll come to your party if your come to mine!
Maddie & London: (Chant) Party! Party!
Maddie: Mine is next Saturday whens yours?
London: Next Saturday!
Zack: (talking about Cody) Dang. It's just like him to put an extra card on the inside.
(Corrie runs into the lobby.)
Corrie: London! What are you doing here!? They're already cutting your cake!
London: Who blew out the candles?
Corrie: I dunno. But whoever it was, I gotta picture with them!
London: Hey Moseby. I'm rehearsing my entrance. What do you think? (London is wearing a really tall hat and it hits the chandelier and she flips backwards and falls on the floor) Mr. Moseby: Your entrance was wonderful! But you need to work on your landing.
Maddie: Hey! Did you hear that? I bet it's the kids from school!
(Senior citizens walk in)
Zack : Umm... guessing they got held back?
Maddie: This is so unfair! I have to have my party at the Goose Lodge because my brother needs braces. (to Liam) Thanks a lot, you thumb sucker!
Liam: You have no friends! Except this creepy dweeb!
Zack: Come over here, booger! I'll straighten your teeth!
Man: (To Maddie about her card that is supposed to have a bingo) I'm sorry, your card is mismarked. This isn't a bingo, you just have a bing!
(The man spits out something and it lands on Maddie's face)
Man: (To the crowd because they are playing bingo) I 29! I 29!
Maddie: I...hate my life!
Liam: Hey Maddie, I mean fattie! Maddie: Liam, be polite and say hit to Mrs. Martin. (To Carey) Carey, this is my little booger of a brother, Liam. Carey: Hi, nice to meet you! Liam: Yeah, yeah whatever. Look, I have bad news, I need braces. Maddie: How is that bad news for me? Liam: Cause Mom and dad are paying for them with your party money. Sinceinstead ofPimento Garden, your party's going to be at the Goose Lodge. Honk! Honk! Honk! (Liam runs away) Ha, Ha, ha! Carey: (To Maddie) I can see why you call him booger.
Grandma Marilyn: So, are you having a good time?
Maddie: Not really. I always dreamed of my Sweet 16 as the greatest night of my life, with all my friends, amazing decorations, great presents.
Grandma Marilyn: Maybe you don't have all that, but you have something else. A room full of people that love you and want to help you celebrate a special day.
Maddie: Except for Liam.
Grandma Marilyn: Liam's a dork.
Carey: London, when you asked me to sing at your birthday party, I thought you meant in the main room, not in the bathroom.
London: Well, I want my guests to be entertained every second.
Carey: Well, now my career is literally in the toilet.
Cody: My good lady, can you help us?
Snooty Saleswoman: The potty is on the main floor.
Cody: Madame, we went before we left home.
Snooty Saleswoman: Oh, goody for you.
Cody: How much for that little bobble?
Snooty Saleswoman: $3,000.
Zack: I can't afford that!
Snooty Saleswoman: There's a shock.
Zack: Well, what's the cheapest thing here?
Snooty Saleswoman: Apparently, you.
Cody: Okay, you can't go wrong buying jewelry. Now, when buying diamonds, follow the rule of the 4 C's: cut, clarity, carot, and color.
Zack: Well, don't forget about the 5th C: crime. Which is the only way I'll be able to get any of this.
Cody: Well, I'm sure there's something here in your budget.
Zack: Yeah, that lightbulb. Maybe.
Zack: (to Cody) Fine, then I guess I won't find Maddie the perfect gift and she'll never love me. And we'll never get married, forcing me to live on your couch, eating your food, not doing my laundry year after year.
Cody: Okay, stop it already!
Zack: What did you get her?
Cody: A tea set, including a China cup with her name painted on it, her favorite tea imported from India, and a box of cinnamon sticks.
Zack: Well, how did you know she wanted all that?
Cody: Because last week, she said to us, "For my birthday, I'd really like a China cup with my name painted on it, my favorite tea imported from India, and a box of cinnamon sticks."
Zack: What was I doing when she said that?
Cody: Staring at her, thinking about that talk we had with Dad.
Maddie: Hey, guys, get ready to party! Like the invitations? The theme is Italian Riviera. I drew the gondolas myself.
Esteban: Your gondolas look like bananas.
Maddie: (After opening Zack's/Cody's present) Oh, and there's a card in here!
Zack: A card?
Maddie: (reads) Dear Maddie. Zack didn't buy you this, I did. Love Cody.
Zack: Just like him to put it in the inside! Look, Maddie, I wanted to get you the perfect gift, but everything was too expensive! And they don't sell puppies to minors, so...
Maddie: (To Zack) I love your present!
Zack: But it's not even from me!
Maddie: I'm not talking about the gift. You came to my party, and that's the best present I could've ever gotten.
(Maddie pulls Zack close to her and hugs him)
Zack: Listen, I want to get Maddie the perfect gift for her birthday. What do you think she wants?
Esteban: Well, I know she wants Miss London to change the date of her party.
Zack: I meant something that I can wrap.
Esteban: Ah. Well, what man really knows the perfect gift?
Cody: Here it is. Maddie's perfect gift.
Esteban: I guess it would be that man.
Zack: (To Maddie about her party) And I'm ready to party!
(Zack looks around and sees practically no one)
Zack: Who died?
Maddie: No one. But Grandpa Fitz can go any second!
Zack: Esteban, I need to talk to you man to man.
Esteban: Oh, don't tell me you want to talk about the birdies and the beesies.
Esteban: Oh, boy, those elephants can eat. By the way, we need new trees for the West Drive Way and a new West Drive Way for the West Drive Way.
Maddie: Great news!
Esteban: (gasps) The revolution has begun in my country, and the people want to put my grandmama back on the throne?!
Maddie: Close. I'm having my Sweet 16 party at the Pimento Garden Restaurant, so don't make any plans for next Saturday.
London: Great news!
Esteban: (gasps) The revolution has begun in my country, and the people want to put my grandmama back on the throne?!
Mr. Moseby: Would you give it up?
Esteban: Oh, not until my grandmama is once again wearing her crown!
London: (to Maddie) Do you know how hard it is to get 15 elephants in Boston?
Mr. Moseby: Oh, oh, oh! London, where exactly is this party going to happen?
London: Here at the Tipton.
Mr. Moseby: Oh, of course. Where all the best elephants stay.
Esteban: At least they carry their own trunks.
Maddie: London, this isn't fair. Your birthday was 6 months ago.
London: So? I can have my party whenever I want.
Maddie: I seem to remember on your actual birthday you took a cruise around the Mediterranean. What do you call that?
Corrie: You know I'll do anything for you London.
Mary: (Thinks) Yeah, I'm pretty much here for the stuff.
London: And I'm okay with that.
Mary: Oh look, more stuff!
Zack: (To Cody about his gift to Maddie) I'll buy it off you! Name your price.
Cody: Ten thousand dollars!
Zack: Name a lower price!
Maddie: I can't move my party, my grandma Marilyn is flying in from Oregon.
London: Well, I can't move my party, Sheryl Crow's flying in from... an airport.
(Cody bumps in to a mannequin)
Cody:Ahhhh! A nakee lady!!!!!!
(Cody bumps yet into another mannequin, and Cody falls on top of it)
Zack: (to saleswoman) My brother is just, ahh, practicing the Heimlich maneuver. You can never be too safe.
Snooty Saleswoman: If I sell you a necklace cheap, will you leave and promise to never come back?
Zack: How cheap?
Snooty Saleswoman: The cheapest thing we have is a hundred dollars.
Zack: I've got twelve dollars and a bus token, although I need the bus token to get home.
Snooty Saleswoman: On second thought, I'll just kick you out right now, for free!
Cody: (Talking about the mannequin) But we were just getting to know each other!
(Cody walks Zack over to the womens clothing section)
Cody: Okay, jewelry isn't the only thing that Maddie would like. How about clothes?
(Cody & Zack start walking towards women clothing)
Zack: None of the sales people are going to take us seriously here.
Cody: Sure they will. We just have to act like we know what we are doing. Like mature adults. Suave, sophisticated...
(Cody bumps into a female mannequin)
Cody: Ahhhh! Nakee Lady!
(Cody is embarrassed, and bumps into another female mannequin)
Cody: Ahhhh! More nakee lady!
The German episode title is "Der 16. Geburtstag", meaning "The 16th Birthday".
Hannah Montana is also "behind the scenes" at this party.
Sheryl Crow sang at London's party, but is never seen in the episode.

We learn that Esteban's grandmother was originally queen of his country until she was dethroned for some unknown reason.
You may remember Cody Arens (Liam) from Riding in Cars with Boys, where he played the 6-year-old incarnation of Drew Barrymore's character Beverly's son Jason.
London's 16th birthday was on a Tuesday. Maddie said that London took a cruise around the Mediterranean on her real birthday and London said that that was just a Tuesday.
Maddie's parents argue a lot.
This is the first "appearance" of Mr. Tipton, but we see only his bodyguards, not his face.
Since London is 6 months older than Maddie, and in 'A Prom Story' it said Maddie is 3 1/2 years older than ZacK. That makes London 4 years older than Zack.
Cody goes to London's party, while Zack goes to Maddie's.
Cody doesn't appear in this episode a lot.
Maddie has a younger booger of a brother named Liam, who needs braces.
It may be possible that Carey doesn't have a car, because, they are almost always in the hotel, and Zack and Cody had to use bus tokens.
This must be the first time Zack and Cody had been to a jewelry store, because they were unaware of the prices.
London also went on a cruise for her birthday.
This is the second time we see Maddie and Zack dance, the first time was in "A Prom Story".
Liam is revealed to be a little brat who picks on everyone he sees. For example, he calls Maddie "Fatty," ignores Carey, called Zack a freaky dweeb, and says that Zack is Maddie's only friend.
This is the second time we see that Maddie's parents don't get along.
This is the second time that someone has said "oddly, I'm ok with that"; the first time was in "Election".
