This episode was one of the best episodes that really brings someting that's been missing from the show in London's standpoint: "Family". When the gang travels to Thailand, London and Bailey go to a rice farm where they visit London's grandmother, who to London's surprize is NOT rich! While Bailey (a farmwork-loving girl herself) bonds with Khun Yai, London tries hard to adapt to the not-so-luxurious lifestyle her grandmother craves. Meanwhile, Cody's video love letters to Bailey are constantly interupted by Zack who needs help to impress a girl, and as usual, he will stop at nothing to gain her interest, even taking Cody for granted. Cody ends up fake dating the girl's annoying bestfriend so Zack can make his move on the other girl. I like the twist at the end. Anyway, when London's attempts to connect with Khun Yai by using money (makeovers and redecoration) fail, she's forced to do something she's not used to: work hard for what she wants. However, when it comes to people who care about you, you don't have to work at all. You just have to accept them for who they are.

Conclusion: The special relationship between London and Khun Yai really made this episode worth watching. I's about time we saw an old side of London. In character-wise, she may not be the smartest or the most modest rich girl in the world, but she is still even more wealthy in where it counts: "heart".moreless
