  • Alot better than last years "Earth" related episode.

I actually loved this episode. I usually don't like episodes that have to do with saving the earth or the animals because they make it WAY to preachy. Don't get me wrong, I think animals are very important, and that we should try to save them, but sometimes the writers get way to annoying with it. Well this episode is different. Its not to preachy, very funny and has a lot of different elements to it. Cole and Dylan both do great jobs in this episode. I truly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Can't wait for the next episode now:)moreless
  • A very special episode.

This episode is so sad and it makes me feel beautifully loved and sad when when big boat shot big whales. Why should big boat try to shot big whales and then whales is dead? That's not really nice to do that. But i like that episode because this episode is very special and beautifully loved. Just because this is very special "Earth Day" episode for protecting the Earth to keep it safe. You know what? I think "The Suite Life on Deck". And "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" is worst. I like "I Break For Whales" episode because this is most beautifully written in this season. See ya!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • The "iron" engine room door and the entire wall shakes when Mr. Moseby runs into it, thus proving that it's fake.

    • Names given to their adopted whales:

      Bailey - Codyblowholey
      Cody - Baileywhaley
      Kirby - Kirbina
      Mr. Moseby - Moseby Dick
      Zack - Zackattack

    • When Cody and Bailey run over to Mr. Moseby to tell him to change the ships course, Debby slides when she stops running and almost falls.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Bailey: I still don't understand why you didn't want to name our whales "Baleen" and "Fluke".
Cody: Because it's demeaning. Would you have named your kids "Gums" and "Elbow"?

    • (The gang have just shut off the engines. London, who is making Paper Moseby's, accidentally cuts their heads off)
London: Oops. There go your heads. Now they don't look like you anymore.
(She gets an idea and holds up the scissors. As she moves towards Moseby, one might think she was going to cut off his head)
Mr. Moseby: Ahhhh! (jumps over his desk to escape) Don't even think about it!
London: What? I was just getting some tape!

    • London: I'm adopting a whale and keeping in my bathtub.
Cody: Whales can grow up to 100 feet.
London: Clearly you haven't seen my bathtub.

    • Zack: Bathtub. Water. I can't take it any more, man. I'd cry, but I've sweat out all the liquid in my body. I gotta get out of here!
Marcus: He is delirious, he has the strength of ten men!
(the gang tries to restrain Zack from escaping)
      Cody: Kirby, sit on him!
      Zack: (stops struggling) I'm good.

    • (Bailey accidentally presses on the emergency alarm button, causing chaos in on deck)
Mr. Moseby: Sometimes I really hate those kids!

    • Kirby: I had a goldfish once. I bet you can't guess what his name was.
      Bailey: Goldy?
Kirby: Okay, what was my cat's name?
      Cody: Fluffy?
      Kirby: Ha! Wrong!
      Bailey: Whiskers?
      Kirby: Dang!

    • From the recorder edited by Marcus: Fire! Fire! Captain Lundsford said all menon deck! Meatball!

    • London: I'm making paper Mosebys! They're almost life-sized!

  • NOTES (0)

    • The movie Free Billy, along with the clip of the killer whale, is an obvious spoof on Free Willy.

    • The code names that the kids gave themselves (Mr. Blue, Mr. Green) is a reference to the 1974 American heist film The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. The movie is about a group of people (who gave themselves code names named after colors) hi-jacking a train; this episode is about the kids hi-jacking the ship.

    • Mr. Moseby named his adopted whale Moseby Dick, which is a joke stemming from the very famous book Moby Dick by Herman Melville.
