Wow, this has to be the worse thing on Disney Channel right now, followed by Wizards of Waverly Place, and then Hannah Montana. I was flipping channels one day, and I came across this episode. I decided to stick around because I did watch this show's predecessor: The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, which wasn't bad until it's later seasons.

This you can tell was just awful from the start. Nothing that came out of any of the character's mouths were remotely funny, and everything was obviously cliche. I just feel bad for these actors. Some of these guys like Brenda Song have the potential to be doing some great work, instead they have to settle for this abysmal writing.

The audience seems to be tied down and forced to laugh at everything that happens just like every other Disney show: this one has a laugh track. You'd think with The Social Network coming out, Brenda Song would leave this show to do better things like be on a box office hit like The Social Network, but she's still here.

Overall, this show is just a shadow of it's predecessor, these characters aren't who they were on the past show. Just caricatures of themselves. Where's the emotion we got on the last series. This episode was just sad and painful to watch.moreless
  • Okay funny but a little bit boring.

This is an ok and average episode. London's dad is a stupid boss about S.S. Tipton what apprentice will do it what London says for one million dollar bag because London's dad told London. I feel still and just watching that episode and then being bored. However, I watch it and I already saw big robotic Grandma to use power to heat the grilled cheese sandwich. That's pretty silly but crazy. On Disney Channel, I saw "London's Apprentice" official trailer is pretty cool and fascinating. That's like it part of happily ever after with knight. I like that episode but it ok because "London's Apprentice" is part of average episode.moreless
  • When London's father pays her $1 million to come up with a new invention, the gang gets involved and things may seem to get carried away. Will one of the four friends become the next millionare? Find out...moreless

Well this episode had it's ups and downs. It wasn't the best episode of the season, but i'm not saying that it was the worst episode ever written. Because it made me laugh at some parts of the episode. Like when the robot thought Mr. Moesby was a vegetable and he was thrown into the hottub. Or Mr. Moesby's colour changing handkerchief. Or when Kirby shot 200 volts of electricity through Mr. Moesby. I could go on with the funny parts but I really don't think I would want to bore you to death. In the end,London gets the money causing everyone to be upset. I guess it was for the best anyways. It was good to see Kirby again. We haven't seen him for quite a while now. I guess the writting team could have done better with this story line. But, i still have high hopes for the show.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • While everyone is in the "boardroom", the same extras keep walking back and forth in the background outside the room.

    • As Kirby is talking to Mr. Moseby at the front desk, a woman in a red walks towards Kirby in the background. When Kirby goes to leave, the shot changes, and the woman is gone. With the direction she was walking towards, she would have still been seen going towards the exit next to Mr. Moseby.

    • Where would Zack, Cody, Marcus and Bailey get the material to build an actual working robot? As Zack said himself, his 'super suit' was only made of tin foil and he didn't know how to really make it work.

    • In The Suite Life of Zack and Cody episode, "Let Us Entertain you", Cody's singing voice is the same when he announces his invention.

  • QUOTES (3)

  • NOTES (0)

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • When Cody presents his invention to London, his delivery is reminiscent of that of the late Billy Mays, who was predominantly known for his commercials of such products as Oxi Clean and Orange Glo.

    • Episode Title: London's Apprentice

This is a reference to NBC series The Apprentice (aka The Celebrity Apprentice), in which contestants compete in a series of rigorous business tasks in order to show Donald Trump that they are the best candidate for one of his companies. Contestants meet in Donald's boardroom to be judged, and the losing contestant is "fired".
