The moral of the episode is: Beware where you go on holidays or travels, as there always is a con artist or scammer around.
London's zodiac sign is Libra.
Zack says to Gigi: "table for dos" - in a world-class Italian restaurant. "Dos" means "two" in Spanish.
As Bailey says, "We just scammed the scammer", the money switches from her right hand to her left hand, then back to her right hand when Uncle Marcos grabs it. Notice that the money is in the gloved left hand in the close-up, and in the gloveless right hand in the mid-shots.
Bailey: We're gonna be in Rome, and the last thing Pa told me before I left the farm is to watch out for pickpockets in the big city.
London: And by "big city" you mean...
Bailey: Any place where the mayor is not a goose.
Bailey: London, we need to talk. It's not easy for me say, and it won't be easy for you to hear.
London: It's about my eye and makeup, isn't it? I'm about to change it.
Bailey: No. It's about Luca. He doesn't really like you; he just likes your money.
London: Oh Bailey, poor, jealous, badly dressed Bailey!
Bailey: I'm not jealous! It's true. I overheard Luca talking with his uncle. They're conmen and you're the mark.
London: No, Bailey. I'm the London.
Cody: I wanna eat here more than anything in the world.
Mr. Moseby: Well then, you should've made reservations fifteen years ago.
Zack: We couldn't even talk fifteen years ago.
Mr. Moseby: What a wonderful time that must be!
London: I am not a tourista; I'm a Libra!
Cody: Uh, Mr. Moseby...
Mr. Moseby: No!
Cody: I didn't even say anything.
Mr. Moseby: I don't care! I'm on vacation.
Zack: Uh, but, Mr. Moseby...
Mr. Moseby: Zip, zip, zip!
Cody: "Zip, zip, zip" is what I was trying to tell him; his fly is open.
Cody: What are you doing?
Bailey: Unwrapping. I have to go tinkle!
Zack: (to Cody) Just take a ravioli. It's not like she has eyes in the back of her head. (knife flies and pierces the ravioli, pinning it to the wall)
Cody: I have tomato in places tomato should never be!
Zack: Hey look, it's Frosty the Doughman.
Cody: (hits doughman with a rolling pin) Now he's dead as a dough nail.
Zack: He was so young!
Luca: I have terrible news.
London: You don't like my new eye makeup?
Luca: My uncle is very angry.
London: With my new eye makeup?
London: Hey, I have the same sunglasses!
Bailey: These are your sunglasses. (takes off her red wig and sunglasses) It's me, Bailey.
Bailey: (referring to London's shopping bags) London, these are getting really heavy.
London: So, take them back to the ship.
Bailey: I am not your servant!
London: Here's 50 bucks.
Bailey: Let me get that for you, ma'am!
(London puts handle of small shopping bag into Bailey's mouth)
Bailey: Taxi! (walks offscreen)
Bailey: I'm not jealous. It's true. I overheard Luca talking with his uncle. They're conmen and you're the mark.
London: No, Bailey, I'm the London.
The German episode title is "Verliebt in Rom", meaning "Love In Rome".
When Luca is singing and London falls for him, the song that he was singing was "Could You Be The One?" by Tony Oller from As The Bell Rings. This song is featured in the episode "Ballad from Lexi".
Meet the Parents
When Gigi tells Zack and Cody "I am watching you", she points to her eyes and then points to Zack and Cody in the same manner as Robert DeNiro's character did to Ben Stiller's character in the movie, Meet the Parents. The same gesture was also used in the sequel, Meet the Fockers, where Jack (Robert DeNiro) is teaching Little Jack sign language.
Naomi Wyoming (Bailey) was an obvious parody of Hannah Montana and Little Moes (Mr. Moseby) seems a lot like Oliver.
