  • A very touching episode.

    9.2
In this episode, Mario and Luigi wanted to get home to brooklyn. While there, they meet Salvador Drainado who been disappeared from the Mushroom Kingdom for 15 years. When they were about to leave, they relised that they didn't want to leave, so they left Sal to go back to Brooklyn and the Mario Bros decided to stay.

The live-action segment was prety funny. Cher brings her dog to the Mario Bros apartment, but while there, Mario's invention caused Mario and the dog to switch places. While Mario's inside the Dog's Body and the dog is inside Mario's body. They use Mario's invention for them to switch back.moreless
  • One of the best episodes IMO...

    9.0
The main story is about Mario & Luigi being homesick and they wish they could go back to Brooklyn. But when given the oppertunity, they has to choose between going back home or rescuing the princess (& Toad) and never seeing home again. Alot of character development here and it was interesting to see how they could get back some. The Koopa alter-ego, Koopa Con, worked perfectly for this snowy episode, but his antics did get annoying sometimes. The best scene was the bridge scene. It was very exiting (although the Mario flapping his arms thing was pretty lame). Great episode. As for the other plot with Mario and Cher's dog switching bodies, its been done beofre alot. There was nothing really spectacular about it except maybe the part where the Mario body with the dog brain was, erm, 'humping' Cher, but I guess you could get away with more things in kid shows from the '80s... Still a series classic. 9/10.moreless
