      • Howard: Hold it! What is this I see?
        Luigi: What's the matter?
Howard: Oh dear, boys, I'm afraid this painting is not worth 100 zillion dollars.
Luigi: Alright, okay, give take a zillion, we're still rich, huh?
Howard: No, Luigi. Besides, I'm afraid this painting is not worth diddly-swat.
        Mario: Good joke, Howard!
Howard: Unfortunately, Mario, I'm completely serious. This is a bogus Da Vinci-Rooney!
Mario: Well, as long as it's not a phony.
        Luigi: Right. Who painted it?
Howard: This worthless piece of art was painted by an impostor, Leonardo Da Vinci-... MAHONEY!
Mario: Oh, these names, these names up to fuse. Did you say Da Vinci-Mahoney?
Howard: Exactly, Mario. Leonardo Da Vinci hopefully stole from his teacher, Da Vinci Rooney, but his fellow student, Da Vinci Mahoney, was even worse. See, he stole Da Vinci Rooney's ideas and signed his teacher's name in his paintings.
Mario: But how could you tell it was a Da Vinci Mahoney?
Howard: Aha! In all of his paintings, Da Vinci Mahoney always managed to slip in a likeness of his uncle, Roy Orbisoni Mahoney!
(he shows Mario and Luigi said image in the painting, similar to Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley put together)

      • Mario: $100,000,000,000,000,000! What are you gonna buy, Luigi?
Luigi: Are you kiddin', Mario? I want a vacation in the Bronx. I wanna ride in a rented car. I wanna buy Mom a fake-fur coat! How 'bout you, Mario?
Mario: The world's largest pizza, filled with extra cheese.
        Luigi: Oh, Mario!
        (they hi-5)

      • Toad: I've had smoother rides in a cement mixer!

      • Fred Flintstone: Wilma, I'm home!
The car that the caveboy drives looks almost like the car Fred Flintstone drives on The Flintstones.
