Goof: Firestorm says "Hey, knock it off!" before a work robot sprays him with plant food and not afterwards.
Goofs: Batman's chest insignia is inverted (a gold bat inside a black oval) when Firestorm is about to drop the group below the city, and when they're running toward the solar energy core. After they arrive, the nose portion of Batman's cowl is colored white instead of blue.
After Aquaman is attacked by one of Darkseid's androids and Superman analyzes it with his X-ray vision later on, all he says is that it's of alien origin. But many of these androids have appeared in previous episodes of the Super Powers Team, so how could they not know this particular one is Darkseid's.
Goof: How was Green Lantern able to help lift Superman's key? The key was yellow a weakness of Green Lantern's power ring and his ring would not work even to augment his strength.
El Dorado, Robin and Aquaman also appear in this episode but have no lines of dialogue.
Goof: At the end of the flashback when Firestorm is devastated over Superman's supposed death, the faraway shot shows the legs portion of the latter's costume colored green.
Goof: When Darkseid directs his omega beams on Superman, they bounce off the walls and ceiling before they strike him. In the next scene as Superman resists, the beams are aimed straight at him.
Goof: In Superman's Fortress of Solitude, the area designated for research into Kryptonite is indicated clearly, with Kryptonite incorrectly written as "Kryponite."
Hawkman, Samurai and Aquaman appear in this episode but have no lines of dialogue.
This is the only appearance of Felix Faust and the Penguin in any of the Super Friends series.
Goof: Ronald is inside the convention center when Brainiac's robots attack. However, when he initiates his transformation into Firestorm, the background seems to indicate he's outside as it shows a day sky with clouds.
Goof: Just before Firestorm switches back Batman's and Jack's costumes, the upper portion of Batman's is entirely colored blue in the faraway shot.
Goof: When Batman and Robin are placed on the giant card, Robin is positioned upside down next to Batman. Just before the real Batman (posing as Jack) restores the Super Powers Team, Robin is positioned rightside up.
The title does not appear for this episode as it did with the others.
This episode marks the only appearance of the Scarecrow in this series.
Perhaps an oversight, but Batman drove the Batmobile to the farm where he saved Robin and Wonder Woman, eventually defeating the Scarecrow as well. As the three departed in the Invisible Jet with the rest of the Super Powers Team at the end of the episode, Batman seemed to leave the Batmobile behind.Batman probably radio the Batmobile back to the Batcave after he arrived in the Scarecrow's hideout.
Goof: When Robin is propped up on the scarecrow stand, the scene alternates at various times from his having his gloves on to his not wearing the gloves at all.
After Batman swipes Kalibak's stargate device and Superman saves Wonder Woman (presently in clear crystal form), the team activates a portal to quickly get to Darkseid. Just before they enter the portal, Wonder Woman though still frozen as a statue, is normally colored, not clear as crystal.
When the Super Powers Team cleans up after Darkseid kidnaps Wonder Woman, The "S" logo on Superman's costume can be briefly seen backward when he lifts the large cubic computerized machine.
This is the second of four shortened 10-minute episodes.
