  • Moe, Larry & Shemp are census-takers who run afoul of a jealous magician.

Another weaker installment. This is essentially 1940's "No Census, No Feeling" and 1942's "What's the Matador?" combine dinto one so-so storyline. The census taker premise is quickly forgotten, as the Stooges become innocently involoved with Jean Willes. Her performace here is somewhat disappointing, as she has little to do. Dick Curtis is still a genius, and is allowed some great interaction with Larry (the TV scene), and Shemp (The bed scene). The funhouse mirror scene is very long and boring and slows the short to a crawl. The ending is alos very lame and not well thought out. Nothing special this time.
