"Just get me a pitchfork and a red union suit and I'll be on my way" The Stooges get spiritual in this unique Stooges classic. The beginning in heaven is funny, but not nearly as much as the "Fountain pen that writes under whipped cream" in the finale. This sadly marks the last Stooges short for long time players Victor Travers and Symona Boniface, who are typecast as usual as a stuffy society couple. The ending is a twist and is actually quite suprising. The film was remade in 1955 as "Bedlam in Paradise" and although that film is better, this is still a classic.moreless

    • Moe: Spiffingham, answer the door.
Spiffingham: No sir! It might be that ghost!
Larry: It can't be the ghost, he's right here in this room. Maybe alongside of you!

    • Larry: Why would anybody want a fountain pen that writes under whipped cream?
Moe: Well, uh, a fella could be out in the desert where ain't any water to write under, can't he?

    • Moe: Shemp said he was coming back to earth to haunt us!
Larry: Aw, let him come! I ain't afraid of that fathead!
      (Shemp's ghost hits Larry.)

    • I. Fleecem: Well, see you later, chumps. Don't stay in the office too long.
Larry: You mind if we breathe?

    • Moe: That makes 70 bucks for you, Larry. (begins counting) 1, 2, 3, 4. Say, what age did you graduate from grammar school?
      Larry: 18.
      Moe: 18? 19, 20, 21, 22.
      Shemp: Robber!
Moe: Say, tell me, how old do you have to be to collect your old age pension?
      Larry: 65!
      Moe: (counting) 65! 66, 67, 68, 69, 70!

    • (Moe hits Larry with the sock full of money.)
Larry: It's a good thing you hit me with money, or I'd resent that!

    • I. Fleecem: (reading Shemp's will) Whereas I, Shemp the Stooges, being of unsound mind do hereby prove it by leaving all of my world possession to my cousins Moe and Larry. Share and share alike.

    • Conductor: All aboard! The Heavenly Express! Bound for the Big Dipper, the Little Dipper, Earth, Mars, Venus, Kookamunga, Anaheim, and all points south! Leaving on Cloud 49! All aboard!

    • Shemp: I'll reform that Moe and Larry even if it kills me! Hey, that doesn't make sense! I'm already dead!

    • Uncle Mortimer: But your report shows that you and your cousins, Moe and Larry, have been pretty bad boys.
Shemp: Well, I'll be on my way. Get me a pitchfork and a red union suit and I'll go.

    • Uncle Mortimer: I hope you brought your asbestos suit with you.

    • (Shemp's ghost scares Spiffingham.)
Mr. DePuyster: Why, you look as if you've seen a ghost!
Spiffingham: Mister, you don't know the half of it!

    • (The DePuysters admire Moe and Larry's fountain pen invention.)
Mr. DePuyster: Well, I'm dying to be the first to see a fountain pen write under whipped cream.
      Moe: So am I.

    • Moe: I say there, Lord Larryington.
Larry: Oh! There you are, Sir Moeington! Cheerio, pip-pip, and all that sort of rot, old thing, old stuff, old fishmonger, old skunk bait!

    • Moe: I hope the DePuysters will be impressed with our butler.
Shemp: If you have a butler after I get through giving him the business!
