A forgotten gem. Very original and fast paced comapred to some of the other entries of the 1950s. Although Emil Sitka is credited, his part is over within the first 5 minutes at the studio. There's a few great ballet jokes such as "Red Shoes", but not much really happens until the Stooges actually arrive on the island and meet up with head collector Kenneth MacDonald. Shemp is off the wall and full of great one-liners, particularly "I'd get a big bang outta seein' you paste heads in an album." There's a great amoutn of pointless running around, but some more great routines show up like the "4-armed idol" sequnce and Shemp hiding under Jean Willes bed. The finale is pretty impresive as well, bringing the short a fitting conclusion. Great short.
