  • Failed actor Stooges decide to kill themselves, but then meet three depressed dancers and end up with parts in a millionaire's musical show.

"Well, I guess there'snothing left to do but bump ourselves off." Although this seems like quite a morbid plotline, it's actually quite entertaining. This short is often looked as one of the weakest Stooge films of the Curly days, but I like it. The Stooges dressed as ballerinas, as well as some of their lines ("This I like and I get paid for it too!) are classic. Jack Norton is amazing as the strange millionaire, not much different than his usual typecasting as a drunk. The ending is better thought out than most of the other Curly films. Curly appears ragged and ill, but comedy still lives.moreless
