  • Outside of a couple of good lines, this episode was awful.

Easily the worst episode of the series, "The Tick vs. The Mole Men" is about a group of mole-people who come to the surface on vacation. Everything about the episode is fine until the Mole King falls in love with a supermodel he sees on TV. That wouldn't be so bad, except she ends up loving him back! That's really stretching the limits of reality, even for this show.

There are a couple good lines ("Yes! I'm doing laundry!") but other than that the show is pretty horrible.

Unless you're a psycho like me who wants every episode in their collection, feel free to avoid this one.moreless

Mole Men come up to the surface for a vacation and the Tick becomes there bodyguard and tour guide. While the Mole King falls in love with a super model, a lava man come up to the surface to try to assasinate the mole people. This is probably the worst episode of the entire series, it's just completly boring. The only part I like in the episode is where Arthur tells the Tick to do the laundry, so the Tick puts it in the Washing machine and just sits there staring at it and says "I'm doing laundry."moreless
  • A bunch of fugly-looking mole people move into Arthur’s apartment and the Tick decides to give them a tour of the city.

    4.9
The only thing that makes this episode work is the weird Lava creature. One of the most effective elements of this show is its ability to introduce strange events into the working environment only to have the characters react as if everything is perfectly normal. A perfect example would be when the lava monster takes a seat at a restauraunt in order to spy on the mole people, and nobody things that this is out of the ordinary.

Aside from a few amusing one-liners, and a bizarre romance story between the mole king and a super model, this episode doesn’t rate very high on the scale in comparison to other episodes.
