By a time machine, Tick and Arthur are sent to the distant past, stuck with a group of prehistoric humans. When the hotel manager from a restuarant located three and a half million years ago kidnaps the human-ape ancestors, he uses them to replace his waitstaff. Fortunately Tick saves them and the kidnapped Arthur, returns freedom to the tribe, and sends himself and his sidekick back to the twentieth century.
I must say, I kind of liked this episode. There were some great lines in there and the concept of time travel was handled well. I laughed at how Tick and Arthur adjusted to being in the prehistoric age, with Tick easily adapting and Arthur frustratedly screaming. I also noticed that this episode borrows quite a bit from the novel The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams, which I enjoy.
This wasn't the best episode, but it's still decent.
