This is probably one of my favorate for the show (sadly only one), it's just funny that this Thor/Superman like superhero would unwisely give himself the title "The Immortal" which is completely misleading, he was probably just a guy on a hot streak, well after what happens consider that streak broken.

It was just blackly hillarous when we see Captain Liberty unintentionally kills him by having sex with him, which is probably the daftest kill I've ever heard, how the heck does that happen? Just seeing her all messy and in distress was really funny but feels like a genuine reaction, on a side note even in that state she still looks hot. Personally I don't feel she really killed him, he probably had a stroke, the guy was pretty seasoned after all.

And of course we see The Tick and Arthur both try to put The Immortal's body in the right place so Liberty won't get burned, it was kinda remonicent of the movie "Weekend at Bernies" as both unintentionally make things worse by the minute. Even liked it when Batmanuel disguises himself as "The Immortal" just to keep the public distracted. I liked this little joke on "The Immortal" being served a Supena on custady for children that could be his, it's funny because some superheroes in comics have had just about as many significant others as James Bond and have slept with them, whose to say this couldn't happen to them. And of course that uligy that "The Tick" gives is comic gold but at the same time bizzarely profound.

It was also cool seeing Arthur having the guts to talk to a girl which was sweet, I always felt this character always had guts but never knew it, he's also a charcter that seems to have magnetism toward the ladies if you ever read enough of the comic series. And he does this because he learned his lesson that there isn't always going to be a tommarow which I feel is the theme for this episode; it doesn't matter if your a superhero or not theres no guarantee your going to live though today.

It is up to the tick and company to stop everyone form finding out how it happend- leading to some very funny situations. we also see the funeral of the immortal and the speak that the tick gives. overall this is a very good, funny and entertaing episode of the tick. we also see arther pluck up some corage and talk to a girl for once. 9 out of 10. must seemoreless
  • In the show's episode we are treated to a somewhat sickening story of our hero trying to hide a dead body.

Captain Liberty accidentally boinks the life out of Mr. Immortal. She along with the Tick, Arthur and Batmanuel decide that they have to hide the hero's body back in his hotel room.

Maybe one of the reason's this show failed could be attributed to this episode. If the Tick is supposed to be a superhero well liked by everyone, he probably shouldn't be hiding dead bodies. Viewers might be turned off watching the Tick try to cover up the truth. It's just a theory and something I didn't like seeing from the superhero group.

I did really like the joke about the other hotel room uttered by the Tick, "This looks just like the other hotel room." That's great, because you know it's the same exact set.moreless
