  • Folk having Fun

I like seeing a "clean" colorful show without "ALL" of the "cussing" aka profanity. I like the giveaways. Just tune in to the show to win $1000.00. That just giving away money! Listening to the show by itself is a TREAT! And the cast members are just toooooooooo funny. Most of the jokes are clean too. The college contributions. My husband and I started flying Southwest airlines mostly because of their support to the Tom Joyner Show. The ole school dance contest is off the chain. You wouldn't think that folk actully dance that clumsy, FOR REAL! Keep up the good work!!moreless
  • It's on at 12:30 am Sunday morning-that says it all

I love LISTENING to Tom Joyner and the other DJ's that accompany him on the radio. His is a show that has done a lot to uplift, assist and entertain the masses in the African American community. He's a great host, Jay Anothony Brown is hilarious, and the radio soap "It's Your World" is one of the funniest running skits I've ever heard on air. Now- the show...that's another story. I can't believe how much this show has disappointed me. Tom hosts a variety hour of sorts interspersed with musical acts. Jay Anthony Brown serves as his obviously funnier sidekick. Tom , I hate to say it but your talent doesn't translate to television. I'm kinda confused when I see this show because I'm never really sure whose in charged or what's happening. I think a show surrounding Tom might work, but he needs to have a vastly different format-maybe a more topical show and less entertainment.moreless
