In the Year 3000 is really nothing more than monologue jokes slightly reworded. They cover the same topics (Spencer Pratt, overeating, Britney Spears, So You Think You Can Dance) as Conan O'Brien's opening speech does. While it's not funny, it is fun to just say, "In the year 3000."
James Spader: You can now see why he rarely appears on talk shows as he lacked more charisma than his characters would lead you to believe he had. His interview was more awkward than funny.
Jack McBrayer: Speaking of more awkward than funny, that pretty much describes this Jack McBrayer interview as well. I really don't expect him to win an Emmy either.
