The Tromaville Cafe

Show Summary

The Tromaville Cafe is a BBC program broadcast between 1997 and 2000. Episodes featured off-color humor and cheap production quality. Classic films from Troma, an independent film and entertainment company founded in 1974 by Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz, were showcased. Troma was known for low-budget, farcical horror productions, and episodes featured many of the characters from the films, including Toxie, Felix the French Trickster, the Tromettes and Mike the Crazy Boom Guy. Kaufman appears as himself, with Joe Fleishaker portraying co-founder Michael Herz.
