When Felix, in the costume, realizes that the other monster is real, we see a shot of him running by a black car while being chased by the monster. After the commercial break 30 seconds later, we see that same shot again.
The kids standing on the street with the "monster" who gave them trick-or-treat route maps change position in relation to the street lamp pole.
Mr. Stockley was in his car waiting for the crossing guard to finish getting people across the street when he turned on the radio and became entranced by the scary story. Later, when we come back to him, he's still in his car in the same spot. He's holding up traffic at the intersection, yet no drivers behind him are mad or honking their horns.
After all of the monsters escape, Jakes goes into the holding cell area and the place is remarkably clean. No footprints, dirt, grime, slime, or anything else that would be expected if all of the monsters trampled through there.
In the final shot of the opening title sequence, the gang are dressed in Halloween costumes, instead of their usual clothes. Hayley's dressed as a 1920's flapper holding a fan, Jake is a convict holding a toy axe, Felix is a cowboy holding a lasso, and Mr. Stockley is a scarecrow holding a plastic pumpkin bucket.
The title is a reference to the 1966 tv special It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, starring characters from Charles Schultz's "Peanuts" comic strip.
