  • When he tries doing something good, it was rendered useless, and he ends up paying for it in the end.

Youko and Koshou infiltrate Shoukou's castle. He was already on the escape, but Youko's youma intercepted him. Youko did battle with Shoukou, but after he figured out she was the Queen, he decided to give up. Shoukou was taken under custody. Unfortuantely for them, an army is out there, waiting for the right moment to attack. During the night, Asano felt like he needed to do something, and went to Meikaku to inform the rebels there to back them up. On his way there, he met trouble, and was stabbed. The next day, enemy air cavalry rained upon the castle, but the rebels in Takuhou arrived with their own cavalry and foot soldiers. The rebels were able to breath once again. Shoukei, Suzu, and Youko, have finally met each other all at once. Shoukei tells them they ran into a kaikyaku, who happened to be Asano. They were already on there way there, and Asano questioned his existence.

War drama, life drama, this episode contains a ton of drama! It was really sad how Asano finally wanted to do something, but it was useless as the rebels in Takuhou were already on their way there, and Asano received a fatal wound because of it. It feels as if nothing is really going his way, even if he does want to do something good for once. He just ends up suffering even more. On the otherhand, it's great that the three destined girls of the same age finally meet each other. Honestly, after a couple episodes into the arc, I really didn't know what to expect of this. Though I've never expected this arc would be so great and far from my expectations. There really isn't much plot twists, but the turns feel even more rewarding.moreless
