  • King Kou you're a naughty person!

After being told the story about King En and Enki, Youko looks into her sword and wonders how the previous ruler of Kei did. It seems like the previous ruler was a woman that fell deeply in love with Keiki, and exiled all the woman in the kingdom. Meanwhile, King Kou demands from King En that they work together in order to overthrow the kaikyaku, claiming to be the queen of Kei. Though King En doesn't fall for it, and orders him to leave. Sugimoto and Youko then meet each other in a fierce battle. Others arrive at the scene, like King Kou, King En, Rakushun, and Enki. Then, Youko's sword reveals the true intentions of King Kou's ambitions.

This was a great episode because it makes me feel bad for Sugimoto, which is quite amazing seeing how much I've hated her for the past twelve episodes. I really liked how they showed the story of Kei's previous ruler, which was played in the beginning when Asano, Sugimoto, and Youko were traveling with Takki. It did a good job of stringing material together. Then how King Kou's secrets were revealed, that was also great.moreless
