What I dislike the most about this interlude episode compared to the rest is that it's mostly a recap episode, taking a couple scenes out of the past episodes, and putting together, while putting Youko as the narrator. While this is what every interlude episode should be, how the past interlude episodes did them was extremely well done and entertaining, incorporating some other small scenes to make the reviewing even more exciting. Though it did still contain some story. Rakushun transferring to Kei to work alongside with Youko was really a great scene. What this episode should have done is try to recap what has happened during the course of the arc in a smaller segmeant, and add in more story. That would have been great.moreless

- A pre-mature ending for The Twelve Kingdoms. The original idea was to have 68 episodes. The series got cut short for reasons unknown to me. Continuing it hasn't been ruled out yet though. Perhaps someday this epic story will be finished and have closure, for there are still more novels that haven't been converted into anime yet.
