I love and hate this episode at the same time. on the good side i love how such a magical place could exist, a place in which you can go and pick up people to replace those members of your family who might be not up to par with your expectations or what society calls "good". On the bad side i hate how the society in this episode has evolved into a no strings attached society, no burdens, (if you fail you are out). What happenned to "i will be by your side in good and bad". Seems like the direction in which our society is moving.

The parents in this show realized too late that they were wrong and lost thier only daughter. I wonder if the felt bad about it afterwards since they didnt care much for the girl, atually i think they were release from a load on thir backs.

I remember this episode from my childhood. This one is a classic.

I'm sure there was something like this one on the original Twilight Zone series. In this episode, a child trades her bickering parents in for a better set. The show is called "Children's Zoo" because the child gets to see other sets of parents on showcase, as one would in a zoo if you were to see a lion or a bear.

I found it particularly entertaining that director Wes Craven makes a cameo appearence as one of two trapped sets of parents.

This particular episode is very short, being under 10 minutes. Perhaps that's why I consider it a classic. It goes on as long as it needs to in order to make its point.moreless
