Janice is a divorced woman who is trying to forget her depressions and problems by shopping with her best friend everywhere possible. They go to a rummage sale and she stumbles upon a lamp, the same kind from the Aladdin stories. She is afraid to rub it but her friend pushes her to do it and she instantly disappears in a puff of smoke.
Debbie appears at an office of the Wish Bank where she is informed by Mr. Brent that she has three wishes. Quickly, she wishes for: ten million dollars in cash, to look ten years younger and for his ex-husband to suffer 18 months of "erectile dysfunction." She is also asked to sign a statement where she recognizes the dangers of asking for wishes, fills in her social security number and bank account information, and lastly she is sent to stand in line, a very long one.
Hours later is her turn to talk to a very unpleasant clerk who informs her that she is missing the application form 604. As she is returning to ask Mr. Brent for it he is disintegrated by his boss Mr. Willoughby. Sadly, it is already too late and they are closing down the bank so she is asked to come back tomorrow. This really upsets Janice so much that she screams out how much she regrets rubbing that lamp and she is instantly transported back seconds before bumping into the lamp not remembering anything. In the end, the two friends leave the rummage sale.
