Well, we all get the idea that Haim is dying to do a sequel to The Lost Boys. What I can't figure out is why?? This movie is one that has become a cult classic. No sequel could ever do it justice. Even a remake would be an insult, but that's just my opinion. I can understand that it was one of the best times of Haims life, but he should just leave it in the past and look toward the future. That being said, it was very sad to see Haim find out that a sequel was planned but that he wasn't included in it. It was cool of Feldman to turn it down for that reason. See what I mean? These guys do have a formula together and they recognize it. It was good to see the lost Frog brother, BTW. I also had to agree with Haim that Suzy shouldn't have pushed her way into the Lost Boys thing.moreless
  • Lost Boys 2 really won't happen with the Coreys!

    5.7
There is an anniversary party commerating the 20th anniversary of the hit film the Lost Boys. That really made both men stars back in their youth days. Haim tries his best to think that the sequel will include him. But he is dead wrong. As it really won't include him nor Feldman. As the guys try to recapture their old fame with going to the party. And trying to show off their reality tv show on A&E. I have tried to get into this show as I had a crush on these two back as a teen myself. But now, things really changed and these two are now "has beens!"moreless
  • After twenty years Corey Haim is still pitching the idea of a Lost Boys sequel

    5.1
On the laugh factor I give it a 10, on the serious factor I give it a 1. Well it's a reality show, so much of it is scripted with brief references to the actual biographies of the stars involved.

Here are so many laughs we have two hasbeen actors (Haim and Feldman) trying to jumpstart their careers again by making this reality show so pathetic and yet so funny.

Anyways, on to this episode despite the fact that "The Lost Boys" horror movie was made over twenty years ago, Corey Haim is still quite obsessed with making.

We see terrible acting as Haim and Feldman fight over the movie or more specifically why Haim is taking the idea of a sequel more seriously than Feldman. They actually both attend the screening of the movie again but clash (or at least that's what you're made to believe) when Feldman decides to stay with his wife over a photo shoot.

Like I said many laughs and probably the biggest laugh I got was Haim's acting when he received the bad news that the sequel would go on direct to video. Why is this funny?

First of, it's twenty years later and the idea of making a sequel to such a beloved classic is a joke. Second, for a guy whose career after the 80's was a long string of direct to video movies themselves it's hilarious that Haim didn't see this coming.

Again on the Larry King Live show Haim admitted the show was scripted (though Feldman later said otherwise). Anyways, Haim's acting was terrible but this episode served up a lot of laughs. I might say as well here that Susie Feldman is hot despite the mediocrity of Feldman he at least has great taste in women.moreless
  • Just when the Lost Boys 2 hype seemed serious, we're dealt a shocker! ...and another.

    8.9
The Lost Boys 2 hype was gaining real momentum with their talk show appearance and it was nice to see that it was more than just false hopes by Corey Haim. He really should be a better houseguest, but it's understable how anxious he is.

It was funny when they were bringing their movie ideas, like Haim getting killed. His idea about featuring vampires with different powers was interesting, but the fact that he hadn't thought much past it was hilarious!

I was shocked when Feldman revealed WB's plans of excluding them in the sequel. But his loyalty to his best friend was very commendable and a milestone bond in their relationship.

It's kinda beyond coincidence that Haim conveniently chose to take a walk about the time the photo crew was coming for Susie. I'm sure she'd have been uncomfortable if Haim watched her in her bikini, but this is reality tv.

Speaking of Susie's photoshoot attire, that was the other, ...shocker! I really hadn't expected for it to be so revealing.

Another great episode with 2, ahem, shockers.moreless
