  • Kimbo Slice takes on Roy Nelson

    7.0
Well this was an unimpressive fight by both sides: Kimbo Slice and Roy Slice. Slice so far seems to be full of hot air and hype.

He didn't deliver. Rampage's best pick failed miserably. Roy delivered the upset. You can dispute whether the way he won was great or not, but the fact of the matter is he did the job.

Kimbo has no ground game that was evident here. Roy is a big guy to have on top of you for sure, but that's no excuse for not countering simple takedown.

Dana acted like a douche trying to diss Roy. I see this coming because Dana has been sucking up to Kimbo building as the next big thing in UFC. Well he isn't. He's far from it.

I could see why people hate Kimbo so much. It's unlikely to stop anytime soon. Right now Team Rashad has dominated Team Rampage.moreless
  • I was really looking forward to this fight mainly because of Kimbo. Ive never seen any of his street fighters but I do know two things, He's strong and a good fighter.moreless

However this episode was incredibly dissappointing. In my opinion, one side of this fight (if you can call it that) did not step into the ring to do just that, FIGHT!. The fact is that in the two rounds Kimbo had more fat guy laying on his face than a - (insert some lame fat guy joke here). Kimbo was in there for a fight, he figured he'd be fighting someone who, well... Not necessary wanted to go toe to toe, but wouldn't act like a coward and just lay on him (And I do mean lay!, I saw absoloutley no ground tactics at all, not even an attempt for a submission) the entire two matches. All while throwing what could only be observed as incredibly weak strikes to the top of Kimbo's head doing next to nothing in damage. The facts are, if they both went Toe to Toe, or even in a ground position where kimbo didn't have to fight just to suck air out of that huge gut. He would have won. Unfortunetly he didn't, and that was followed by gloating and Roy acting as if he's the next big thing and just fought to show Dana what real fighting is and that everyone should now Bow down before him in respect.....I don't think I've ever laughed so hard.moreless
