  • When I was a young boy growing up in eastern Indiana my brothers and I would watch the Uncle Al show every day. It, along with Captain Kangaroo were our favorite shows.moreless

ALthough my memories of the show have faded over the years I recently saw a link to your web site and started looking around. The Uncle Al show was a very good show for small children. Most of the kids in our neighborhood stopped playing outside and ran to the TV set to watch our favorite shows and "The Uncle AL Show" was right at the top of that list. They were in black and white then but that was ok to us because most of us didn\'t have a color TV anyway. I did notice that the link to Al Lewis from your shows main page links his name to the AL Lewis who played Grandpa on the the TV show \"The Munsters\". We liked that show also but I don\'t think any kid who grew up in the 60\'s would get the two confused.moreless
